Thankyou - I had tried everything but that - didn't realize you could change the shape of the tabbed dock to anything you like, RobF

Is there a way to have a tabbed dock on the side that comes out as a drawer sideways rather than length ways using OD +. I can only make it come out as a strip length ways, which is confusing when you have more than one tab. Would like it to come sideways similar to a drawer from the top or bottom. Thanks, RobF
Search "Folder" in Wincustomize and use advanced options to select docklets. https://www.wincustomize.com/download.aspx?LibID=29&SkinID=7597 RobF
I am using an excellent docklet written by Citizen SIHY called Folder Selector. By right clicking on the docklet you get a programmable list of folders in windows explorer, or start an actual file, such as an .xls file. It would be even better with two additions - IMHO 1) Ability to create a short name for a folder or file, instead of showing the whole address 2) It always starts Explorer in the non folder view - would like to see

I have several icons in my ObjectDock tray (Plus) that I start and they show the running indicators when they are active. I created an Explorer icon using explorer.exe, but this keeps showing active even when the explorer window is closed. Any ideas? Thanks, RobF
Is there any way to hide any of the icons that appear in the system tray tab with ObjectDock Plus. I was using the Docklet ObjectDock Tray, where you could do this, but it crashes the whole time and the Docklet, which I love, as far as I know, is not being updated. Also how do you search in these forums - occasionaly I see a search box, but most of the time there is no search box Thanks, RobF
Mike, thanks for your reply. For some reason I don't get this. I am using Object Dock (free version). For me Outlook (2000) just opens multiple icons, but if I exit Object Dock the standard Windows task bar does show one icon with the number. Does it matter what icon/png you use. I downloaded one of the png files from the docklet site. I actually have a follow up question as well. Is there a way to have a different icon for the program and f
Is there any way to show multiple e-mails open with Outlook or another Office 2000 program where thay are ganged in one icon with a number, rather than each one have a separate icon open? I know I can represent each separate window with its image, but they are really too small to see what each represents, so would prefer to see one icon indicating numer of similar windows open. Thanks, found the search function. It looks as if the color is fixed - might be from the XP desktop, which I believe is also fixed
Just found out about ObjectDock and I love it! I am using the free version as I evaluate it - Is there any way to change the font color shown above a dedocklet item? Also how do you search these forums for previous answers? Thanks RobF
