A system restore will not do it... I beta for ZA and 4.5 was released with a huge amount of bugs (this being one of them). Re-install 4.0 and do not upgrade until the fix comes out in the next week or so.
Tom - drop a quick note to T-Man....he'll fix it in a jiffy with that third hand he has....
If you still have Web Blinds on your machine, keep using it. As far the Window Blind Toolbar feature, you're stuck with those two for a short while as it is a work in progress.
Ok...If you have a lot of settings and what not that you don't want to lose, then use the backup feature in ZA config and save to somewhere on your hard drive.(If you don't have a lot of permissions and settings then skip the backup). Go here http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/information/zap/releaseHistory.html and download version 4.0.146.029. Re-boot into safe mode and un-install the 4.5 version, re-start your computer and install the 4.0 version you downloaded....restore the saved settin

Tom: XP will run on 128+. It really depends entirely on how many processes you have running in the background that eats up memory....mine runs at approx 550 MB on a re- boot and then slowly builds as time goes on and more gets loaded to memory. As long as you get a handle on the processes even that Lap will run fine Billy: I show it in SDC....you don't? <A HREF="https://www.wincus
Install 'DriveScan' in SDC, run the app and it will tell you what's where.
OK....with XP it makes no difference in Pagefile size since it will only use it when no actual memory is available...thus it neither adds nor detracts from your overall system performance. A setting of one and half your memory size is the usual accepted size. Unless your hard drive is thrashing about all the time then you're fine.... If you set it too low and you run out memory and then run out of Virtual Memory...your puter is done. BTW: 512 is not a lot of memory in an XP mac
You can change the size in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings/Advanced/Virtual Memory....I do not recommend you change it since you know nothing about it and I certainly don't recommend to anyone that they disable 'Pagefile'

If you don't know how to make (or use) a DOS boot disk download a floppy DOS boot proggie from HD site, (insert floppy in drive) re-boot into DOS and transfer all files to new drive. Set it up to be your new boot drive. Turn off system, unplug old drive and set new drive as master. Re-start system and there you go......... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" A
