kind of,programs like windowsblinds will change the way XP looks but not the way it acts.Programs like Lightstep can change the way it acts and looks.If you just want to change look[ie. skins]you go with Windowblinds.If you need better access to certain programs and applications then you may want to try a program like Lightstep[ie. shell]which you can also change the look of[ie. theme]In the the end both programs will change how your XP looks but only

best program for updates i found so far is at neowin.net itis called Autoupdater it made for someone in your sit. Your XP disk should have SP2 on it[depending on age]but autoupdater will have it also and every update[critical/non critical]but you must start with Dec. full and lite updater and then feb and then march.You can save the files to what ever location want [ie your exturnal HD].Then after your clean install open the files in order and in about

i have used both TGi soft and windows blindsand yes you can not use both at the same time and i will tell that Window blinds is much more stable since it is partners with microsoft.It will also use less resorces than the other program since it use micro. own files instead of illegally altered ones [tgi soft]

sounds like you have one of 2 problems either you cant activate it BECAUSE IT IS A CORPARATE COPY [just like corp. copys of XP you can only validate and update them through the corp. computers that the lisense was sold too]but i have never heard of a corparate copy of WB so it sounds more like your anti-virus programs are not letting all WB files install there have been several theads about iti just cant remember the AV systems that dont play well with
