Did you notice the orignal post wasnt playing on such a hard difficulty as you were? It really burns me up.. I know its not even my place... but people moan about the AI being dumb and they're not even playing on a hard level... that means crank up the difficulty if it was too easy for you. Sorry had to vent.

Is there a way to make the basic fonts bigger say from 10pt to 12 or 14pt ? Fonts are tiny when playing at higher res. I'd even have bigger font in 1024&768.

Well reason I brought that up about minors, I mean I was getting planets from Yor (hardest of the majors ) surely I could get minors if it were possible.. all in that cluster area were skull and crossbones flipping to me or about to. Also IIRC theres a evil super project that any planet in rebellion would flip right away.. tie that in with evils no starbase upgrades... I'm smelling an evil influence strategy now...

If you pick an existing race to play as like Terrans, Drengins, etc.. they have certain techs already & you cannot change those. A completely custom race will let you change.

Well what prompted me to write this.. there's a couple in the galactic library that don't work 'as is' even if you put them in the right place. RaceImage__ or RaceLogo__ needs to be used if you are providing additional content.. a picture named without that won't get recognized if its in the same dir ( \gfx\race )

Yeah after thinking a custom color would be cool only to find out it it sucks... then have to play through the sucker with funky colors.. or a green thats too much like the Torians, etc.. Blue looks like humans can't tell em apart.. etc..
