Yeah there are steps to use Stardock Central and archive it that allow you to put it on the internetless computer.. You will need to install Stardock Central on both, Archive it on the computer with the internet, either burn that archive to a cd for transfer or use another means (USB/ Flashdrive etc. ) Unarchive with Stardock Central on the internetless computer. Voila GC2 on your computer that didnt have internet.

small ships are easier to mass produce and um if you have to make ships at less than favorable places (ie worlds that arent all factories... ) these worlds can keep up and bolster the fleets. Yeah expect to take losses but its quantity that matters if you are using this strategy anyhoo.

Build econ bases with trade modules if you want to up your trade income. I will echo what is said about trade, I've never seen it bring in more $$$ than taxes. It does calm the neighbors and they're less likely to be hostile or invade someone they see as a trading partner. Which doesn't mean that they won't invade if you're the galactic weakling.. anyway.. has someone ever tried using trade racial bonus + mercantile party ?

We'll see how time plays out, for now It may get noticed but other companies do nothing and continue on their merry way, but eventually they are going to key in that more sales = more $$$ for them, and CD protection didn't deter possibly help create some would be pirates. You know if you just want to see your custom portrait.. why not make a modded RaceImage__ or RaceLogo__ ? Images are 256x256 png and logo 128x128 png and are found in the \gfx\race folder. I would suggest either using a name (Example: RaceImage__mycustom) or a larger number than one used by game (Example: RaceImage75 ) Is that what you want ?? Yes I too noticed that. The latest Nvidia driver is dated Feb. 7, 2006. Update and crash no more. New Signature: I want $10 for every person person who posts about bugs w/o updated drivers and another $10 from everyone who complains about the AI being a gimp and they play easy level. That way I can surpass Bill Gates as the richest man.

Well.. I tend to still be "jury is still out" on the subject.. I think its as feasible to be one or the other what style suits you best.. I will also admit, even if I try to be good I still end up selling my soul off for a few more tiles ( the ones with the + PQ )
