p.s. ill be back with more questions, when my exams are done i wanna customize my pc, like ive seen in the forums... since i guess its a long way there, ill be back with a bunch of newbie questions!!!
oh and yeah i had the advanced button on the 2004 version and when i right clicked the desktop and went to properties i did have a suites tab.... so no idea where the problem was
ok i now downloaded the 2005 theme manager and it works..... it gave me a bunch of error messages when i instaled it, but now it works.... strange.. but the result is what counts, i guess... thx for the time to guys invested! and i should be getting back to my studying now!
nope no little box in the sys tray...
well i downloaded mine today. so i guess i have the most recent version i could get or? it says 2.11
yup have all those instaled and thanks to all for looking at my problem!
the theme is already installed... when i klick apply the above happens, it installs all the stuff. if i press apply, it repeats the above... i can repeat that as often as i want for any suite...
well what program do i need to run then to load a suite? i thought it was the theme manager, which i open, i select the suite i want. klick apply, it downloads the required skins files, it extracts them and then applies them... according to the program, but nothing changes on the screen...
I have the same problem i cant apply any of the included suites or the ones i downloaded. theme manager made me download a bunch of programs which i didnt have installed, (icon packager, windowsblinds... etc.) so i guess i have all programs needed. since i didnt pay anything anywhere, i guess they are all shareware version... does this mean i cant apply suites unless i get the full version? thx for any help <img src="h
