What do the dreadnaughts do ? IS there any way to remove the meteors while still keeping expenaded version ?

Where can I find an updated list of what this mod does ? The website seems a bit out of date
Heh I was just thinking to go to them for answers to your question about the modules..not a patch :) It might be fruitful to program up a spam bot or whatever to get their attention. Certainly doesnt seem like they are reading their own forum.
Dumb question but have you guys tried to ask the stardock people for help ?
why bother with the Korath when we cant get them to use their sporeship?
How about fixing the bonked AI in Galciv2:ToA please ? OR at least helping out the people fixing it and sharing some of the profit from the game?
The Yor are #1 in my current 2.0 game. The Krynn/Torians are sharing last place. I'm tied for first place and the humans are nipping at my heels. Dregen are kinda bleh. The moo2 minors in my game each have a few colonies but are not dominate at all. I've noticed several races have tons of money they arnt putting to good use. It lets them buy my tech without going broke though heh. I've noticed the moral and economy bonus on some of the evil building are much higher than similar rac
Under the basic Galciv2\mods folder -not- in the Twilight folder, then you need to go into the game and tell it to load it under options.
In 2.0 it still costs money to build the first starbase..given that the poor AI is constantly broke from buying my crappy tech its no wonder they dont get starbases going. They should prob just be totally free as any cost was built into the constructor. The Ai really needs to jump more on the galactic resources..seems to just completely ignore them.
I decided to go into the starbase file and half the mining values. Do you happen to know where the original 5% bonus you get for your first base is coded ? Thats the only one I cant find.
Is it possible to modify the number of galactic resources the in game map generator puts on a map?
I had previous set all my Ais to generic..with this mod can i set them back and expect races like the dregin and yor to function and thrive ?
I'm cheering for the other guys! Humans are filth :)
I really like it even know the state that the game is in also I have 6hrs of gameplay. I like it more then SotS 1 and i really like that game. This is all my opinion
6 hrs of gameplay 5 1/2 spent looking at a black screen while the computer runs AI vs AI battles in real time because there is no autoresolve. The rest of the time you either madly clicking directions for your ships since there is no combat au
I'm totally grateful for your efforts on this mod and I was just wondering when we might be seeing 1.00 I had though like months ago it was going to be released?
I went by Evrett on the sots forums and I've been following the Sots franchise for 5+ years. Sots I is an excellent, polished tactical combat game that completely downplays economic management. If you like to fight space empire vs space empire in beautiful real time (with turn based empire management) than this is the game for you. Its absolutely worth the 5-10$ you can find for sale now and if you follow the Kerberos twitter they have been giving out game copies for free. That sa
I'm getting multiple mini dumps with beta 5..especially when starting up the game or loading a save.
Okay so its time for another update on how 1.00 is coming along! I've just finished what I hope to be all of the work we need to do on it now apart from this single minidump which we're currently hunting down. Now its not a guaranteed minidump and it never happens during a "match" (of any kind sp/mp/ai/noai etc) it only ever happens when launching the game and may not happen for 13+ game launches and other times it may happen 5+
I had a very similar reaction to Sins the first time I installed it. I dont think it lasted on my computer more than a day or two. Sins isnt as good as some people make it out to be..but it does a good job of being warcraft 3 in space and its pretty fun and challenging when you figure things out. The planet list ui deff turned me off but now that I've used it fro a while its really fairly elegant. And i think we all agree the tutorials are useless. I would suggest upgrading to entrenchmen
I've only played one game thus far but it seems like this fix has balanced out the AI pretty well..the races are bit slow militarily (lowering the cost significantly of planetary invasion might be a fix..as it seems to be a motivator for military development), and they dont use non-resource star bases enough. As long as the human player doesnt do an early rush they make for a good game. Hopefully more aggressive military development will come if you are able to fix patch together the evil

All going well it should be released in the very near future. In it includes a couple of GalaxyScenarioDef fixes that I have been hunting for nigh on a year! Ofcourse fixes for the current mission bugs, pirates being over powered, Relic Planets and a few other bits here and there too. Oh and Co
Quoting enoeraew37, reply 5695would it make sense to move all pirate changes into the "harder pirate" extras patch? Yes and no. I like to spice up the pirates with more then the "lets throw more cannon at'em yarrrrrr" routine. Plus the idea right now is to get the pirate raids under control.
oo can you add more yaarrrrrr!
shouldnt have to try a dozen..I get the diplomacy crash bug every game.. would it make sense to move all pirate changes into the "harder pirate" extras patch?
In my case I was bribing the pirates to attack other players instead of me..and I should add I havnt installed the "extra" pack that apparently makes pirates harder..I did install the pirate "fix" though..maybe this is a problem?
Quoting enoeraew37, reply 5674Also I didnt see the first pirate raid ..but the one i got had so many ships it blotted out the planet. At which time. Early is suppose to be small but end game pirates are suppose to be nasty.
It was early..like the 3-4 or forth wave...I hadnt yet built a 2nd cap ship
