It sounds nasty in spanish too! The worst part is, they don't put anything in it when they make it. If I'm going to eat oatmeal - which I did for awhile while a missionary, just because it's so amazingly cheap - it's got to have a ton of brown sugar. They leave it totally mushy and flavorless.
I've often said that it would be an interesting election if there were two decent, intelligent politicians - two like John McCain and Joseph Lieberman - running against each other, rather than stupid talking heads.
