I'm betting your bmp is in the wrong orientation....the 3 states should be in the direction that they show up on the skin....that is....the vertical bar should be 3 vertical bars...side by side...and the 3 horizontal states should be 3 horizontal bars arranged end to end. The reason I say this is that the bottom horiz bmp that your screen shows is exactly the 3 states aranged one on top of another, not end to end...<img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 AL

I do have some standard templates that indicate the relative areas for buttons, etc.....and you are welcome to them. As a matter of interest, as with a lot of people, I started with WinAMP by pulling apart an existing skin, modifying it, piece by piece, and observing the changes until I had worked out what each bit actually did. berzerka, I believe the idea is to maintain reasonable integrity of a post's meaning...if they could be edited, they could be altered to destroy the continuity of the thread, to its ultimate detriment. If, however someone were to get into abuse or personal attack, racism, etc.....then snip-snip...delete the post...
