What on earth has a OS got to do with average hardware performance, well to me it makes no sense since the test is for hardware & one would assume the OS is ignored in said tests. EDIT: Vista can't be worse than the glitch ridden xp,freeze frame hit the comps on/off button to bloody reboot yet again & that's on a good day somedays it tells me to f off, well when i get a no disk/insert system disk error the way i see it xp is tell

I find this a very odd question after all it's about supply & demand ain't it, i'd assume there was no demand for said cd's so they were discontinued
Apart from the apps you have listed that you have from stardock include any others you have also downloaded from here to trial EDIT: Unload each, one by one all the while checking the state of the menu color after each unload, it will determine the app that's causing it and then tinkering with it's settings,as a guess did you uninstall the trial version of webblinds before installing wb6 it may be the cause
(Citizen)moogleboi October 19, 2007 08:31:57 Reply #118 It's well known that Windowblinds likes to fuck your computer. Looks like WB6 is going to cause disaster like WB5 did... Best thing to do is shut Windows down, and access your files using a live CD. Back them up, and format. Also, in future, keep all your work on a separate partition or hard drive, and make sure you back it up often. Tut tut, this company needs to sort it's software out.
<br/
There's one thing missing from your comments on rejected work "WHY",why was the work rejected i'm not interested in hearing why you think it was rejected just why the mod decided it was not to go up,well if i did some work that was refused i'd sure wanna know why then i'd also find out what the standard is coz it sure sounds like it was'nt up to it.
The skin won't bring in new members,i can't say i've seen it advertised in any of the numerous emails i get from cnet, techrepubic, zdnet,pc world... the list goes on,it will only give food for thought to those that are already objectdesktop members which is what the intention was is the way i see it as it's nothing more than a gimmck,& yes you are correct nightrain errd lets just leave it at that & move on as the WC staff have stated there is more to come for other members etc. <br/
woot..it's friday but no theme to download , arghhh the curse of living 13 hours into the future so by the time it gets put up i guess that means you lot on the darkside of the planet will download it today while i & the rest downunder will have downloaded it yesterday <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Ew.gif"
Since you have some sort of branded computer check your operating manual for recovery options assuming it will boot into the recovery partition this is the reason why you don't have a cd as they have made a partition on the hdd for this option, there are 3 recovery options 1-system roll back-pffft good luck with that 2-non destructive recovery-keeps data files intact no data lost but all 3rd party software will need re-installing 3-full reformat -destructive-everything is wiped <
caedes is my main source of wonderful, weird & the wacky wallpapers
There should've been no need to loose any of the skins as they are held inside a theme folder, mines located inside wincustomize folder of program files, pretty much goes for all skins from stardock so saving them for reinstall is'nt a big assle EDIT: There's supposed to be an h in there but my mind types faster than my finger
Yep just applied it..lmao..works fine on 32bit xp ,hey frogboy any chance you could update it EDIT: All it does is skin the border of the windows, menu's stay as they are,the resize buttons etc are placed kinda like a all in one imac, well thats enough retro for a few minutes back to halloween theme.
yeah he's certainly doing a grand job of ignoring vstyler (post #19),what's the story there v did you piss him off in a previous life back on topic: i'm off to have a gander @ the tut, vstyler that dvd is what i'd be into do you have a release date in mind EDIT: Bleed'n give it a rest already your becomming boring, if you wanna bitch go start a blog..nough said..
A another hdd or "TWO" would be about the only good protection & either make an image of what you already have installed or just use it to transfer any important data like stardock stuff to an external hdd , nothing worse than a hdd going to the dogs & loosing all that data
Hehehe if i was a mac fanboy that article would be like being slapped with a wet fish,a really BIG wet fish
So much for the theory of evolution,he for got to put a D in front of it
Yep the rugby world cup ain't bin too bad, good professional players on all the top sides, pity the ref's & sideline refs ain't upto the same standard, for a sport that's supposed to be professional with gawd knows how many millions poured into it, it's a bloody disgrace, the IRB need to take a leaf out of the Aussies Rugby League & start using the video ref,i'm suprised the sponosors don't have a crack at the IRB for that sort of nonsence it's been going on for long enough..end rant..lmao <b
My limited edition 24 carat gold spiked troll club (with comfy ergo grip) is at the ready just say the word ps: did i mention it's jewel encrusted
This is what i would do if i found myself in your situation: I'd start by making sure SDC is at it's most current build, then delete ip (save theme folder before doing so),i'd also delete any folders that are IP related inside objectdesktop which is housed in PROGRAM FILES,then open REGEDIT navigate to SOFTWARE inside HKEY USER & HKEY LOCAL MACHINE,delete any entries to IP,(can be found inside STARDOCK folder once tree is expanded) close then reboot & try reinstalling IP from scratch. <br

I've got the original xp made guest account turned off the only account that's active & shows up in the logon screen is my admin account so i would assume that logon works fine with only one account i can't see why it would need two to be able to run i have these turned on in the user accounts that Bichur is talking about i thought it may help, the x's inside the brackets denote that those boxes are seleted [x] use the welcome screen, only need to click on user name etc
clarify something is logon installed ,so you can click on the shortcut & it's window appears yes ? well you said you downloaded it there's nothing mentioning you actually installed it because it's just like any other software it will install no prob regardless what version of xp you use unless you don't have admin privilages, yes i realise it seems a stupid question to ask if it's installed tho it's how one fault finds by going back to the beginning as you may have clicked on a popup that mention
you yanks I'm English very sneaky i checked your profile before i posted..lol..
Hi everyone! I'm seriously thinking about purchasing this, because I have downloaded a trial version, and am loving the way my computer is looking right now. However, there is one issue that I want to clear out first before I pay. If I do not order the CD with it, do I get some validation code to install multiple times, in the event I reformat my computer and lose the software. Or would I have to repay for e
