xscorpx is a shortened version of scorpius as for the x's either end someone else had got to sign up at wc with the handle scorp GRRRRRRRR dam theif , scorpius is a character out of farscape & wears leather including a freaky leather mask (see picure @ bott left after clicking on link),it's the only handle i ever use for the past 4 years tho in the first two years i preferred to spell it scorpious Scorpius works for the Peacekeeper military, but only so far as working for them serves

Since the new servers were installed the speed has been great only usually takes 5-6 sec's to load a page for the most part & it's not like i got super fast bb , by the time it gets states side it'd be 90kb-130kb i usually can download @ around 150kb of data on a 1.5mbps plan,that said i am 12hrs ahead so most of the states is asleep,lazy bums

It's not a RAM problem that people suffer & is easily understandable as to why some not so informed people would come to the conclusion that customization software affects performance, on the contrary it has EVERYTHING to do with graphic card power,i should know i experianced it on my own machine that had a 32mb intergrated with 1gb of RAM & more than enough harrdrive space & speed running xp,as an example most blinds would affect say start menu mosue over load speed to get too the all programs

What do you mean,did you reboot after installing if not then let it do it's thing,upgrading wb requires a reboot,the message would have said as much along the lines of "for it to work" etc,however if it's a continuing cycle after reboot that you get the message then contact support as more than likley you have a bug in your comp

I had trouble updating to a newer version of windowblinds until i saw Zuubaz's post about uninstalling the earlier version & unticking archive on update rebooting then installing new version it worked a treat,it only happened the once & after the new version of wb was installed turning on archive again was fine,just can't remember if it was updating from v5 to v6 or not when the incident occured,in your case however try turning off archive first if it still hangs,uninstall the older version as w

There has to be some sort of moderation in regards to quality otherwise the site will be full of crap & buggy blinds,widgets etc if something got two stars then there's a good reason for it,if the maker thinks they've been hard done by then it's up to them to contact that moderator & find out where the improvements need to be made

How difficult would it be for the objectdesktop software or it's individual components to have the ability to put the creators name across the middle of any skin be it wb or widget etc,(example: webshots software puts "WEBSHOTS" in bottom right corner of all wallpapers & it's sorta transparent but can be plainly seen), if you purchase the objectdesktop etc software then the makers name can be removed etc ok so it really will only be useful for cracked software i spose

You'd find it easier to activate whatever program you want if you had a dock installed,then it's just a matter of dragging icons from the programs list or (create your own icons in a sub folder in "MY DOCUMENTS" by right clicking an icon & left clicking send to desktop then stick em in your newly made sub icon folder )& drag n drop those onto a dock,there is a basic free version of objectdock but it pales in comparison with the bought version,it would'nt hurt to get cursor xp plus also for full
