I would assume there would be content moderation when submitting,that makes me wonder how a virus would get into any catagory,hell it's an automated virus scan on anything i download or upload so one would assume their servers would do the same as my lowley desktop,as for rips & even items i would consider junk,they get put up here & when one is found to be a copy or rip it's taken down, i'd assume once the dev team get advised it happens there too eventually,my undstanding it's not a commercial

When booting to safe mode unless it was more than 3 minutes then you did'nt give it enough time to load the safe mode desktop,yes i'm aware it appears to do nothing & get stuck,in actual fact it's loading into memory,the amount of time it needs depends on the speed of your hdd it can take a while,if you have too give it 5min & see if it comes up,it's bootskin studio that's the prob as it does'nt work with all BIOS's EDIT: If safe mode does'nt work then you have a bigger issue than

It's hard to say, i have some skins i can't use as they make cxp crash period,there are skins i know are ok & on occasions make cxp crash for no reason,it's just one of those things,opening too many at a time can cause cxp to crash as well,hehehe.

If you had'nt reformatted ?? then saving the sig.bin file will avoid the react issue or if you did reformat another option like i use is drive imaging.

If you have a half decent graphics card that's not one of those useless intergrated types then wb won't even show in task manager,if your running xp you should have a minimum of 1 gb anyway

Just attempted to activate it, it's a no go as per comments above EDIT: lmao.. now uninstallg the my colors software has frozen the add/remove,it seems it ain't going without a fight,at least the start button still works,saves having to use the emergency shutoff button.

You need to make sure that you have Microsoft.NET2.0 or higher for stardock central to function correctly,you would be best to check by using windows update as .NET is an optional download & i don't think autoupdate will install it.To get the latest build of any software thru SDC,make sure you have the two boxes checked at the very bottom "show prelease" & "auto archive" You can get the most recent release (except beta) by requesting the email with the links & serials to download,i can'

You have the option to just dowload OD thru the link in the email after you've bought it,you also have the other option of using Stardock Central,which most of us use i would assume,it just makes it easier to update any bought software,you'll find OD listed in the "misc" column,Stardock Central (SDC for short)is a download & packaging app for all stardock products,it also installs them & can create backups of the older releases before you update to the newer version.

Look on the bright side i don't discriminate, i never give votes for anything i download,quite frankly i would'nt want some git who does'nt know the first thing about skinning voting for anything i made, it should only be skinners themselves & experianced ones at that, that vote ,not general joe public like myself,the best gauge is how many downloads you get,i could mention rank ho but then i'd be talking about myself :LOL:

Picture clearly shows trial software,latest version is in the 3.4's,if it was a stand alone download there would've have been a link to download the latest version assuming it can be bought seperate,might be better to do like you said uninstall it,then run ccleaner then install stardock central to download Dx that way you'll get the correct version and a working one at that. ;)

Check the SDC configuration settings under tools,there's a setting under INSTALLATION that lets you determine the directory for all apps, there's also another setting that lets you plonk the program file shortcuts where you want too if that's any help.

Mine goes from boot screen straight into logon studio screen,my first thought of your issue is a setting that needs changing perhaps,which one that would be i could'nt tell ya,it'd be a matter of trial & error.

You also need the microsoft update .NET Framework 2.0 & it's relative updates,there's also a version .NET 3.0 tho it's optional if you want to install it,i've had no probs with it but that's just me ,you'll have to use windows update as i don't think autoupdate will have installed 2.0

For the past two days SDC would'nt connect including on my 2nd'ry comp,something about connection error or whatever (all other progs,browsers can connect to the net),tried again this morn'n & all is right in the world once again ;p ,is it possable that you not connecting with WC is related,perhaps they're doing maintenance on the servers. Edit: i did'nt think to try WC when i had the SDC issue "D'oh"
