Hello, ever since the patches were applied, it seems like the AI will send tons of units to waypoints and never use them. They will stack them pretty much in huge stacks without creating fleets, so they end up being easy kills. Sometimes theyll fleet them, but I can run transports right next to their huge stacks and they don't do anything about it. I am totally dominating the AI even on masochistic on kill ratios. Check out the pic below. Anyone els

I forgot to mention debt really is not a big deal. To me, it is entirely worth it to be in the red the first segment of the game, because once your banks/population are in place, you will have a powerful economy capable of fielding massive armies and doing insane research You have to weigh the pros and cons. Pros of keeping lower tax rate/highe

Heavy micromanager? Check Perfectionist? Check Paranoid? hmm... Check ... and even I spam the turn button occasionally, don't feel bad:) Yep, as far as the initial rush... what I do is set industrial capacity to 100%, military to 0% social to 50% and research to 50%. I set my tax rate as high as I can without going into red morale. From there I pump out a colony ship every single turn and send them to the furthest destinations I think I can reach first

Yep, last three games I played on 'crippling' have been submitted as 'normal'. To be honest, i -dont- think that the metaverse is bugged. I think in patch 1.0x that EVERY GAME IS SET TO NORMAL NO MATTER WHAT. The ai just seems like a push over --based on diff slider-- ever since I installed 1.0x. Has stardock issued a statement on why this is happening yet or if they're working on it?

I think it would be beneificial to have peace treaties last a MINIMUM number of turns. I feel like I'm exploiting the ai when I push them to the brink of surrendering and sign a peace treaty only if they give me half their planets and all their techs. Once they do, I break the peace treaty the next turn using my new planets as bases Also, I think it'd be cool to have some way to set up tribute/turn or else war would be declared. Double posted somehow...

Am I the only one who is annoyed at the AI's placement of buildings after you conquer one of their planet? The never take advantage of special tiles (even on the higest diff levels), and don't seem to understand the importance of building farms. Generally, they build way too many political buildings, and with no extra populace, they're worthless. IMO, the AI would be much more competitive if they build more factories, less research buildings, but h

I really wish the minor AI were more sucessful at conquering planets They just seem "ready for the taking" to me. I milk them for as long as they're useful, tech wise, then I conquer their planets.

The last game I set up for metaverse was "masochistic", however; as I was playing I noticed I dominated teh game, and when I submitted my score, I realized why: the difficulty was on "normal". I never play normal, so why would this have happened? The next game I started was still on masochistic from the last time I played, so I didn't accidently set it to normal.

I just wanted to thank you for creating such a great game:) There's been such a drought of great TBS games and GCII is everything I've been waiting for for a long time. You guys are a class act. Except for the part where you got me addicted to my computer and deprived me from my social life

Hello, I just played a game and wiped out 4 races and made alliances with the other 4. However, I did not win and when I went to the victory screen, it said I needed to ally with the Arceans. Arceans were the first race I allied. I tried unallying and reallying, but I could not un-ally. I can submit a save, if necessary:)
