ok i have to make another post since iam unable to insert two pics in one post... As you see in the first picture an eyeball i created quickly And here is the magnified size : note i could insert a picture of my room in the reflectiion on the iris and it would be still visable if you zoomed in there is no way i could do something like this in photoshop without having pixel nuggets everywhere =) So that is the reason ...

i was asked this a couple of times now and i wanted to show you why... i made this today nothing big just a quick illustration that will pretty much speak for itself and will explain the reason behind my goal.

My bad,/sorry somehow i did not see Docs 2nd post when i commented... well but still i would recommend making the models from ground up that way they fit better together they have the correct stance and no poly streches like on the stomach of that light clothed female. My suggestion so far is that you might want to lower the opacity from the background ( black corners ), and maybe the dogs head is a little to small or the body to big compared to the tiger the dog is pretty huge

Hi there Stramp, like Jafo and Doc already pointed out a 3d model can´t be used even if you pose it in a different position or recolor it...for GUIC I dont know if its allowed if its included in the program u use as free basic shape or model...still i think it should not be tollerated as worthy/self created art/ submission. You can make wallpapers of it but you always have to insert the source and have permission from the original author... a model can take up quite some time

F: if you delete the bootloader you will have to restore it somehwre else... ´the 100mb partition is normal if you have an HDD installed and your SSD as a primary device windows will automatically make that partition. Vstyler - i wasn't talking about the lensflare on the top left i meant the gradient that starts from the center of the startmenu... i know that sometimes you cant really see the ripples depending on the angle your looking at your monitor but for me these are clearly visible even in the reduced screenshot that has the size of my in use startmenu... no offense just trying to help buddy

i like the look...especially the HAL of the top startmenu is looking tasty... but im not a fan of the radialgradient (the zones are a bit visible) in this screenshot, i would like to see them lowered a bit in opacity , while i think they won´t be visible when it´s scaled down...Anyway very nice concept so far wonder what you will do for frames and taskbar [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

I think the low submissions had to do with finding a good set idea if i take a look at some of my favorite icon artists like Dario Arneaz or JJ Ying they spent hours on them making them look awesome... or treetog he has some super sets aswell besides his single icons... and there are others that also make good icons i bet the chance of having some top icon developers in the GUIC this year would have been big... Who trusts Norton anyway ? once i purchased it it was good i was promised to be safe in the www. but my computer got sick it had worms and was abused by trojans and instead of giving me some help they upgraded to a new version and i was left alone and had to pay full price again to recieve a cure... and look at me now iam running freeware that is even better and my compueter isnt slowing down [e digicons]:rofl:[/e]
