tested the surface yesterday and i must say it works pretty well it is fast checking emails and so on is almost instantly loaded explorer is also fast the desktop is useless i agree but that is only because its windows RT . The strap on keyboard is working also nicely but takes some time to get used to. Have not encountered the problems with swipe like in the OP video...sure if you let someone use it that has never used windows8 before it will not look good xD best would be to let

Sorry Kamamura no need to be angry i just have to laugh when i see folks getting a crossfire ready board and they stick a Nvidia GFX on it sure your 670 will hold and work but what if you need to upgrade, if its not enough anymore or want to go for SLI ? Not an option ? in this case probably not. Unless you have 2 spare radeon cards I prefer , to be able to upgrade a good board, without investing 2x400 USD in another GFX card bc i choose the worng card setup on the Mboar

rkinne01 what version did you download the fences pro or the Fences 2.0 ? Sorry to hear that you have problems, i recommend uninstalling fences and then reboot then go and download it at https://www.stardock.com again make sure you grab Fences 2.0 and not fences pro. Thanks DOC... There is also a security flaw currently in windows8 i doubt it has been fixed yet.. The French company Vupen found it and is selling it . I dont know if it has been sold already but i think it wont take long.

the term skinning where does it start and how can it die? I wouldnt even use the word skinning - its rather customizing its true that many folks out there dont know what it is and they dont appreciate the glory of a customized look of their own OS... sadly But if you show these folks a good skin on your phone or on your desktop they will gain interest and mostly they want the theme or some info on how you made that possible. Windows 8´s new start interface should have a "ontop feature" like a simple checkbox to keep it up if you click on your desktop... Metro apps would make much more sense ( the live apps ) the new metro skype is horrible and makes no sense. Like i said before the interface could be used as secondary third or fourth monitor ... sadly MS didnt look into it - Win8 should detect if you have a touch display or a simple regular monitor and it does, but why doesnt it make use of the sc
