Im a windows person i have tried my luck with linux and i also have a macbook pro but in the end i like windows its nice and easy to use and does the job same as the others. Sure there will be a new windows version but as you said its more of 2 -3 year period... I dont see any major flaws/failures in windows7 or in windows8 therefore i dont struggle with the thought of staying on both of them for a while. What i was trying to say is when a operationsystem is created in less than a y
windows9 ? there is no windows9, there is only a name ["Blue"] and Blue is most likely a servicepack that will be Win8.1-8.5 i doubt that there will be a new personal OS in the very near future since Blue is dated to arrive in summer 2013 or later. If MS makes a new OS in that short period i will be gladly sticking with my windows8...
Edit: Roloccolor beat me to it...
I tend to cheat since i edit my posts out later :P i want to add something to the disadvantage for windows8 , windows8 login is connected to a live account you can only use it alone if you dont want anyone to read your messages instant messengers and so on since they are always on - unless you dont use the apps and still use desktop messengers and so on. Dont know if this can be passed
LOL, great answer. but the real answer will be Windows 9, after Microsoft realizes what a piece of shit win 8 is and fails miserably with most everyone. BTW, Star-dock came out with a great little program called Start8. it fixes what MS should have or should be adding back into windows 8 in the first place.
i think this is the perfect example to my previous post...and shows that MS has no
The release of windows8 was ( not as good as planned ) not because windows8 is bad compared to windows7 it has to do with the information on MS side that explains how to use it. The Developer preview, consumer preview, release preview and release to Manufacture all didnt have a clear tutorial that offered the basic and advanced understanding how the product is to be used... they seem to have thought people are familiar with the phone interface already and shouldn´t have any problem
was about to say if checkdisk founds flaws its time to backup and replace
Thanks for the video Doc. The pen tool isnt as great in PS as it is in Illustrator and i dont understand why.. If i use the pen tool in illustrator and i make a curve ( you will end up having 2 handles one on the right and one on the left of the ankor point now i can simply click on the anker point again to delete the handle i dont want but the curve i created will stay the same and i can continue with the pen tool without affect of the handle that had just been deleted, sadly photoshop
Sure but you can work with vectors in Photoshop also, still the vectors will be pixelated when you make the finished image but you can get a little more detail than usual depending on angle you can work with 1/2 pixel if you use vectors in PS... also i like the pen tool much more in illustrator since you can adjust the path later on dont know if photoshop can do that also in such an easy way.
congratulations =)
here you have two tutorials on windows8- after seeing both of them you should be able to answer all of your questions...or most of them 1. Basics Windows8 START: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh5JjErbXE8&feature=related and if you got this tutorial passed you may want to see the multitasking of windows8 2. Advanced use
acted in advance! im setup and ready to skin those Start apps

Mhk i just asked bc i had a similar problem with windows 8 and motherboard utilities did you try booting up 7 and restarting into windows 8 safemode ? Its all guessing at this point without a specific Page fault error code.. or wait for yrag PS: in event viewer go to user defined/Admin - it should show you a list of warnings and critical errors search for the latest.
page fault in non paged area doesnt it throw out any more information or is it just rebooting right after ? Do you have any external drives connected ? As far as i know you just recently made that setup on that desktop could it be that you installed NetFramework lately or updated any motherboard specific drivers.sorry for asking again
this happend out of nowhere or did you install anything... ( it will cold boot into windows8- well if it is still set as main bootup under msconfig/systemstart it will do so ) to the problem with the page fault in non paged area / is there any more info ?
compare the developement of an OS with a graphic engine 5-6 years period combined with making a game that makes use of it... I could write over 10 pages of the process here but i think i can have it more easy if i point you over to an expert interview of John Carmack that explains pretty much everything and goes even deeper - The 3 hour non stop interview of him can be found on the Ytube Quakecon2012 keynote the main task for them is it to provide a game that is graphically close to
Yes but i dont have one at my Home pc, The technologie itself is still on new ground ( PC ) but we have 2 chained at work. The thing is that the upgrade for a new board and the thunderbolt drive itself is still quite expansive and have the standpoint of a freshly released ssd what doesnt make it worth ( at least for myself atm ) while i do plan on upgrading my board as sson as the prices drop a little. So i would say if you got the money it doesnt hurt to invest in a board that supp
