Doc gave you the correct steps locate the start-button sometimes its a .tga file if it is animated...( if it is animated you need to open it in Photoshop for example or your favorite painting program, check the picture , if it has 7 buttons on it for example you will need to divide the picture´s width by 7 to get the exact lenght of one button (if there is transparent pixels between them) example:Animated startbutton with 7 buttons with a total p

I had windows 8 RP running for a few days now without any mayor issues and i´am impressed so far however i recently decided to install some of my mainboard drivers even if most of them were auto installed... not sure why everyone is hating that much on it...i can understand that ist strange to adapt to it but it doesnt take that long...the OS is blazing fast/the IE is the best i have seen so far ( the Metro IE ) i like the taskmanager a lot beeing able to set my startups and so on its great - I myself just recently installed the "rp" and i must say it is "damn good" and i can see benefits over 7 already ok Features have been removed but hey you still can have your dual boot if you will miss them.

i guess that could be also implemented for 7...or not ? things little things like this itch you to upgrade like the change from vista to 7 you had to many options missing in the various versions like the animated wallpapers in pro and home those were only available in the ultimate version sadly it needed some geeks to unlock these ..' hopefully they will over think the versions for 8 - the RT is looking like starter - win8 and win8 pro could have been a single version
