as far as i know there is no equal style windowblind out yet there is the windows8 + metro windowblind but that is missing some features of the stardockcentral skin but its still a masterskin... and close to it
well its not about the usage of the ssd JcRabbit its just to avoid filling the drive with junk that is not needed-( im not doing it for the warranty or for the lifetime that i suspend/freeze ) it´s up to you if you want to have it there but i use the www and travel a lot of different pages a day last time i checked my temp drive and my ContentIE folder had about 6 gigs of JUNK in it...that is just a suggestion not a must do trick- of course you should use your ssd but ke

you may also switch your browsers download folder to another drive and maybe take a look how you can redirect the temp folder so it wont store unnecessary data on the c: drive i did something but don't remember it anymore
currently while i have plenty of other unfinished stuff iam working on this since i want to get more knowlege about how to do things without watching tuts...while i still do tuts on daily basis i thought i try something like this without a tut...Photoshop only so far...i know it looks simple ut to be honest i had a hard time will add some flip swiitches and some more buttons in the future

john did you try to make a texture in a large scale like 1920x30 for frames caption and set it as layer not using any margins... i sended you a private message since i wasnt able to post- unsure if you got it thought about it and it may work without having repeated textures...if not im sorry but i guess its worth a try since trhe texture looks amazing
jupp second option should be turned of you can leave it on the hidden partition the samsung is fast and like you said they have their own controllers so far im happy with it it looks good and seems to be a stable robust build havent tryd raid 0 yet but as soon as i get my hands on a thunderbold drive i will try it and give feedback the only problem i noticed so far on the samsung is that they seem to slow down on boot time if external drives are connected i guess thats more a windo

I installed windows 7 directly to the drive but i made one mistake i installed it while i had 3 extereals attached to my rig what caused the system to make an extra D: drive with 100mb backup thats for windows itself - it has a solid letter normally that drive or that partition is hidden but its not... ohhhhh im xited just thought about it again... i have 2 external harddrives that have usb 2 and they r terribly slowing down my pc while i have a ssd attached as main drive and a superfast HDD as secondary master drive the two externals are slowing them down on startup bootup and in overall windows experience.When both external HDDs are not plugged in things are fast and as far as i read USB 3 will not do any difference..so im reallky exited to get one of these Thunder

yes you could skin windows 7 to look like this but you cant change your explorer to look like the example with just applying a skin- the whole theme looks quite familiar to me...if i compare it to a recently released beta especially the stripes on the sides ( red ) I dont know who made it first but just compare it to SDC even the font looks the same
