For the record, Windows 10 will always be Windows 10. There will be no Windows 11, 12, etc.
Mhh the trend is to remove bunch of stuff and add useless things for an desktop environment. That in mind i think once Ten is stable, they will get rid of the "s" in the word "Windows" since less is more :P And then you have it, it´ll be the "ONE" single thang for everything, be it phone, tablet, deskto

i know your drive is fast, i have a supertalend RDIIP with 480GB :P Yes indeed i did not mention that, the drive will only hold the data from those drives, no data will be added once everything is transfered. Eliminating the power consumtion of 4-5 drives actually, since it will hold all of the data stored on my externals. I will be replacing them with one and that will be great for me. Especially since those externals consume up to 45watts i have 2 older ones

Did you guys miss the point where i said i would replace the drives i have with that single one? No data will be lost when it breaks since it will remain on the other drives. 5400rpm doesnt mean the drive is slow it actually does R/W of 150MB/s which is good enough. http://www.storagereview.com/seagate_archive_hdd_review_8tb Since this is for large data, like ZBrush files, I do not need t

I calculated the cost of having several external drives and 2-3 internal HDD´s aswell as the 2 SSD´s running and thought it might be better to replace some of the externals and the internal HDD drives with one BIG GUY, to save a little money when it comes to energy consumtion overtime. Thinking about buying the Seagate 8TB internal HDD it has 5400rpm and 128MB cache so i guess it will live long enough and will be fast enough also. R/W is also decent for a HDD

The strange thing is, that i was first talking to real Support, that is located in Germany. I made the call. As i said they wanted me to pay for support which is normal- Germany has no free support (in german) Anyway right after this call - close to 5 minutes later the phone rang and this Informed Lady was on the line. She sounded a bit like Manjula from the simpsons (No offense) Was that just a coincidence, i mean what are the odd´s for this to happen ri

I actually had a windows support call today since my store and my windows mail app was spitting out error codes. I went and disabled services and reactivated them to get it to work. The support was terrible (german support) they told me, that they would need to take remote control to see where the problem is and directly wanted me to open my wallet. German support is horrible, i was very polite, even though she kept interrupting me constantly, when she then told me that i have

Could you be more specific and provide a screenshot of the problem? As far as i understand you have a Iconpackage loaded and it works but when you open Itunes they will all go away ? Does this mean that within Itunes other cions are shown such as folders ? Or do the desktop icons change back to windows standart?
So very hard to determine what's the truth these days. I'm sure it makes most folks just not want to bother, read or even listen.
Agree but thats common with Microsoft, they only put out as much information as they think is needed, but they always leave questions open and unanswered for great time period and then they wonder why an OS is pulled appart by missinformed poeple on the web.

Mh i read about that yesterday and that its meanwhile debunked. By Boris Schneider Johne https://twitter.com/Win10Boris "The passage with the " fake play " is here: http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/servicesagreement/ ... - and that concerns not Windows 10 but the online services . Even a H

but it should work that way... Was your system upgraded to windows10 via desktop update or did you do a clean install with iso for windows10 Or is this running in VirtualBox? If you did the desktop based upgrade you might need to uninstall fences and install once again. Another thing could be that your installer got corrupted (but thats far off i think.) Still, to be sure please redownload the installer from the Stardock Homepage. Disable your Antiviru

Quoting Techron : This may sound like it's 'too obvious' to be the issue, but I've seen it several times... In the display control panel, where it shows monitors "1" and "2"; first click on the "Identify" button to verify which monitor it which. Then, make sure that the right/left position of the real monitors matches the right/left position of what is being displayed in the control panel. If it doesn't, grab one of the monitor symbols i

Normally you just drag the executable and drop it right on the dock. If it has no icon displayed or if it does not work try this: Close Objectdock. Launch Objectdock with administrative privileges. Right click Objectdock executable then select launch as Admin. Once loaded drag and drop the executable onto the dock. If it has no icon displayed then right click and apply one for it. Let me know if it worked. --------------------
