Zubaz, You should submit that to the "Your Vision of Winky" thread .

cutt3r, We need a little more information to recreate the problem you are having. Which library are you trying to upload to? The IconPackager library will only accept .ip and .zip file extensions. The ObjectDock library will accept .dockzip, .zip and a number of other extensions. None of the libraries accept .doczip as you have indicated above (note the spelling). Please also note that the preview image must be .jpg as indicated on the
Hey, Happy Birthday Jafo.
Fairyy~, The upload process uses your Skin Name to determine if it is an update or not. So if you want to upload the same files, but not have it be considered an update, you need to change the Skin Name, not the actual file names. The file names can stay the same. Dean
Fairyy, One thing that you could try doing during a download or an upload is set a constant ping to a site like Google. If you open a command prompt and type "ping www.google.com -t" then hit enter, it will continuously ping google until you tell it to stop (ctrl + C will cancel the ping). If you receive any timeouts, this will indicate that your connection has dropped momentarily. It is possible for your connecti
We made some changes yesterday that caused some problems. We've corrected things this morning and the uploads should be working again. Give them a try and let us know if you are still seeing problems.
p e d, In order to reproduce this issue, we need more information. When reporting a problem such as this, we also require browser type (ie FireFox, IE 6, IE 7, etc.) and version. We have tested purchases using IE 7 and FireFox (version 2.0.0.4). Your post also does not tell us if you were trying to purchase a product off of WinCustomize, or from www.stardock.com . Please also include what product you are pur
HeirOfSlytherin, Beyond error information, could you also post items that may help us track down this problem. Items such as OS/Browser, ISP speed (eg. Dial-up, Cable, DSL, etc), size of files being uploaded, file names being uploaded (eg. mypicture.jpg), etc. Dean
The Reset Date feature should be back working now. Thanks for letting us know you were having problems.
We will be making an exception for this for the Screenshots library so that you will be able to right click/Save As for this library. This exception will only be made for this library. The change will be available on Monday.

This is a security feature that we added recently. You will not be able to right click and save the images in the preview window.
Cavan1, Frankief: Thanks for letting us know, things should be working now. Dean
Frankief: We currently only officially support FireFox, IE 6, and IE 7. This is still true even though Maxthon is based on the IE browser engine. With that being said, I have tried freshly installed Version: 1.5.9 (build 80) of Maxthon before a new build went up this morning and after and both attempts to upload worked. It is possible that an Add-In or some other piece of software on your system was/is causing the issues. I say this as some of the information
Frankief, Is it possible for you to take a screenshot when you get this error?
Ask and you shall receive; well sort of. I added the date and time of last update for that page. Since I am sure not everyone writes down or remembers the last build number, I figured having the date and time may be the next best thing. Just in case someone didn't realize, we updated again this morning. Keep us informed if you have any issues, and we'll be keeping an eye on errors that arise. Dean
Fairyy~, looking at the two pages, both screenshots appear to be the same. There is a certain amount of caching going on, and when a skin is uploaded it can take 5 minutes or more for a screenshot or skin file to propigate to our other sites. Keep in mind that while WinCustomize, Personal Sites, and the moderation queue look similar they are essentially different websites.
We are trying to track down this issue and have uploaded a new build of our upload code this afternoon as the update this morning still had some issues. We will mostly be monitoring this thread: https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=149010 So if you are still having issues, please post them there.
We noticed after our update this morning that people were still running into the Error Code: UploadDetails error. We put up a new build this afternoon and will be monitoring it to make sure that the issues are taken care of.
We updated the upload2.aspx page this morning. Hopefully the changes we made will take care of the issue where people are seeing Error Code: UploadDetails. As for allowing other file types, it is not my decision. For now, you will have to zip up your files if that is the file extension required. Dean

ok, things "should be" back to normal now. Please let us know if things are still problematic. Dean
Download problem should be fixed now. Let me know if you still are having problems. We put a build up this morning that caused this issue. Dean
Z71: Currently the updating of Master Skins is working as designed. All updates to Master skins including only word changes in the description will need to go through moderation due to the fact that these skins are being sold through us. In the future, if you would like to update a Master Skin and have it back for sale quickly, contact us prior to the update, and we will work with you to get your skin back out there quickly. This does not affect updates of non Master Skins
