The 'Updated: 8/22/2010' indicated at the bottom of Impulse is the date that we published the latest version of the game or application (not when you installed). If you hover over the 'Version: v1.00' in Impulse it should give you more information on the minor revision. The currently released version of Elemental is v1.00.010; what does the tool tip say for you? If Impulse thinks that it has v1.00.010 installed, this is why you would not see an update. If yo

What is the URL of the page that you are viewing the pricing on? Or are you seeing this through Impulse? You can actually view products that are available through us on a couple of our websites ( www.impulsedriven.com or store.stardock.com)

My appologies for the problems you were having purchasing with FireFox. We have tested purchasing through our store using FireFox and as of yet, have not found any issues. The suggestion to try IE was more to see if there was something that your installation of FireFox didn't like about our store.

Branko, I understand that you have tried using Impulse and then FireFox to make the purchase. Is it possible that you have some piece of security software installed that would monitor internet traffic? If so, could you turn this off and try again? Also, see if using IE makes any difference.

IconPackager should be showing up correctly now. We had a problem with xml data on our end. If it isn't showing up properly for you try this: Go to Preferences (under the orb) In the General, click on the button "Reset Data". Impulse will go through what appears to be an update and when all is done, you should see IconPackager properly.

Catperson, Please try what Island Dog is suggesting. We moved our servers a while back and for some reason your computer is still trying to get to WinCustomize at the old location. If that does not work, you didn't add any entries to your hosts file have you?

Murex, Thank you for your help so far. We made another change that hopefully will fix your problem. There was specifically a problem with the Xion library when uploading. If you have a chance, could you give it another try? Dean

A new update just went up that hopefully will take care of the main issue at www.wincustomize.com/upload2.aspx that you guys have been seeing. Could you please give it a try and let us know? Murex,
As i said above I have tried all three links with both flash 9 and 10 and i get the same results.
The reason I asked about the url is that there are only two places to upload to WinCustomize.

Flash 9 is the requirement for uploading on upload2.aspx. Again, if you have Flash 10 installed, or you have Flash disabled or not installed, you will not be able to upload on this page. Our official supported browsers on WinCustomize currently are the latest version of FireFox, IE6, and IE7. Safari is not currently supported, and thus you may get mixed results. If you are having trouble with uploading, you will have to use one of the supported browsers and have only

We are trying to track this problem down, but are not having a lot of luck. We are hoping that you guys could give us a bit more information about your setups. 1) What browser (and version of the browser) are you using? (ie. IE6, IE7, IE8, FF, Opera, Safari) 2) Do you have Flash 9 or 10 installed? (If you are using www.wincustomize.com/upload2.aspx flash 10 will not work with the upload proces

Thanks for letting us know about this. There are some things we'll look in. The history is displayed in a browser control that uses IE as a back end. As with most browsers you can right click on the web page (in this case the page where it shows the 406 error) and view the Properties to get the url that the history window is trying to navigate to.

MyStCaL , Have you gotten things taken care of now? Was support able to help you? I am wondering if you had "Prompt for install directory" checked under Preferences -> Folders. If so, and you were prompted for an install directory in Impulse, it may have been putting the files in the wrong place. Try unchec

messiah1, The file extensions that you are using are correct. And assuming you are uploading both files, this could be due to a 0 byte file. You can receive this error if your file does not contain any data. Could you let us know the size of the files you are uploading, and also the exact names that you are using?
