Reply to Can't move Icons into fences or from fence to fence in Fences Stardock Forums

I am having this exact same problem. I can confirm that if you change the desktop back using Personalize -> Windows Desktop Backgrounds, you can drag/drop & cut/paste icons. I did not have to log out.
