I like seeing patches released sooner rather than later. It's a sign, at least to me, that the company really cares about their customers and their game. Plus, just so you know, Star Wars: Empire at War had two patches released on launch day, before most people even had the game.

I was asking about the insert. I updated the game's serial number. I forgot they were letting everyone get the CE stuff because of shipping problems.
My apologies if this has been posted already. I ordered a CD version from Stardock and it arrived today. Fast shipping, considering they sent it out Friday. I'm in Minnesota BTW. I took a quick peek at the Tech Chart and they split it up to use both sides. One side has Weapons and Defenses, the other Diplomacy, Propulsion and Engineering. Very nice layout, excellent job Stardock. There's an insert with a Serial #, w
The Torians at first because they always get so many planets and then go to war against many races.... But then the Terrans, because they keet quiet until you totally forget about them and suddenly you realize they're better than anyone else with their economy and they quickly conquer half the map.
I found a few copies at Best Buy if that helps I don't why some stores would have it and others not I've run into this problem before. Best Buy wouldn't have a game on release day but I could go to Target or Wal-Mart and find it there. It's weird, but that's how it is.
I tried the one fix where I adjusted the 'Affinity' but it was only temporary. I managed to play for over an hour with the planets and ships spinning normally, but just about 10 minutes ago they started to spin really fast again. I guess I'll give the AMD Driver a shot and see if that helps any.
I'm having the same problem. I'll try those fixes when I get home from work.
I figured I'd post this here to try and reduce the amount of threads there are. I haven't seen these issues/bugs posted, if they have been, my apologies. First: In the Colony Management screen, the planet spins REALLY fast. The 360* view of the ships does the same thing. Anyone else experience this? Second: When I move my mouse to the edge of the screen, doesn't matter which side of the screen, it goes off into some kind of b
I played EAW on Medium on the largest Galactic Conquest map and won. Took me over 20 hours, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The AI attacked me a lot at the beginning, but once I managed to take about 1/3 of the galaxy, it stopped attacking me. I since started a new game on the same map but on the Hard difficulty. Nearly the same thing is present. The AI attacks me a lot, but I eventually manage to take 1/3 of the galaxy and the same
Best Buy opens at 10am, so you should be able to find it on the shelves at that time. Unless they haven't received their shipment yet.
How does one go about getting these files to play?
A Star Trek mod would be cool, but I would prefer to see a Babylon 5 mod instead. That's one show that doesn't get much justice with video games.
I'm not really in with the whole multiplayer thing so I'm glad Stardock decided to make the game for single-player initially and allowed for the ability to add multiplayer later on for those that want it. So sit back, relax, and have a good time playing the game for what it is. Because if there is enough demand (I'm sure there will be), Stardock will put out an update and/or expansion pack that enables multiplayer.
Will the Collector's Edition be available in stores? Or do I have to pre-order through Stardock to get it?
