At the zoomed out level, its hard to see the current selected ship brackets. Make the brackets bounce in and out around the ship, and brighter, so its more clear which ship is selected.

A) Include another icon slider so that I can have ships as icons no matter what the zoom, and be able to see planets and their names zoomed all the way out. B) Include a simple icon change for fleets. Fleet icon as is, and include 1 dot for a small fleet, up to say 10 logistics, 2 dots for 10-20 logistics, and 3 dots for anything above that. Instead of the transport icon being used for fleets that have transports in them (which can cause con
3. a high level of allies agreeing to joint research. Me like lots. Me want in game. What game did this in 4x "recently"?? Was it SEIV? There was no tech trading, just treaties which gave you both research bonuses. GCII could do this easily...... right......? <img src="http://images.stardock.c
Researching technology is a major portion of the game. Looking through all the available techs and deciding which of them is the most useful is one of the largest ways to make it feel like you own your empire. I want to have to decide whether researching Laser IV to give me an edge in combat is more important than researching xen
Aren't there more good civ's than bad? Drengin/Yor are the only evils right? I'm evil, and allied with both, yet at really bad odds with the rest of the galaxy, and I even tried to trade a bunch with the Torian's to stop them warring me, but they still did. If I'm right, the good trading with good bonus would be even more beneficial.
Just having a look now with high espionage. In the Torian empire (the highest ranking empire I think) they have a BUNCH, like at least 6 or so planets just missing 5 + tiles. And I'm still getting beaten by them... DOH!
Two things I've noticed a lot of from the AI. I've played on normal & intelligent. The AI seems to build a TON of starbases in their own territory, and not actually upgrade them, and even worse, they build them a million parsecs away in my territory, nowhere near their own territory, thus making them utterly useless. AI also seems to have issues using transports. ESPECIALLY if I leave a planet undefended. Even with all my planets
Hi gang, Just wondering, I'm playing on intelligent... I think (the one up from normal). I'm invading AI planets & regularly finding planets with 2 or more squares undeveloped.. Like they've decided they're not going to build ANY factories, and just started a build list. Anyone else finding this? For the record, I am doing normal invasions, and its late game, and MOST of the worlds I invade have this, I'm pretty sure, but I guess not certain
Wow thanks voqar, very helpful indeed... Amongst other things I wasn't putting stardocks on all of my worlds but think i will now.
Anyone getting mass idiocy from the AI in the form of transports being sent in undefended to try & "snatch" undefended worlds... ? which by the way are in the middle of my empire, defended by a ring of other planets & ships... I just keep on sending a single ship out, zapping them, then going back to defending my planet. This is on normal AI.
Scrolling around the map seems unreliable... sometimes i'll push the mouse into the border to scroll and cool, it scrolls, other times it just refuses, and i have to try again. Weird. Seems to happen more at the bottom of the screen. Also tool tips... sometimes I'll hover the mouse & ill get the tool tip. Other times I have to hover, and then move it a little bit to get it to show (on both occassions I am definately hovering over the button)
"Smear" or, "same here" in english.
Woohoo! When I get home from night shift this game is mine! Now the question is will I be able to stop myself from playing all day when I should be sleeping!
