Yeah, whoever grabbed at EB at Van Mall was lucky - that was the only copy I could find that week that it came out in the Vancouver / Portland area. I was finally able to snatch one of three copies at the 82nd Best Buy a week after the game's "release." A worker at the Airport Way Best Buy took my number and was going to call me when they got it in, but he hasn't called me yet. Weird.

I keep getting this error when trying to post my Metaverse score after a game: (16) The results of this game could not be posted to the Metaverse. Would you like to try posting your results again? I retired, but apparently talking with other gamers, that is not a problem. I belong to an empire, but when I go to view my account then edit my empire or view my empire, I get to a screen that has blank fields in it, rather than an empire page. Maybe that's the prob

I'm normally a very patient person, but when you've actually got a spare weekend for once, and got totally into the hype for GalCiv2 last weekend, it's pretty rough. It's just frustrating. (Star Wars: EaW has a 79% on GameRankings, I wouldn't call that poor.) And apoc527 - picking up a 360 would be the real tragedy.
Nowhere in the south-west Washington state region has it (two Wal-Marts, EBGames) nor the Portland, OR Best Buy. The Best Buy employee joked that he got in two Xbox 360's, but all anyone wants is a PC game. I'm *this* close to just picking up EaW for my sci-fi gaming fix, to be honest.
Citizen Airwreck, I'm on the west coast as well, and I haven't heard any reports of it being out here. Lots of people are being vague (got it at Best Buy, no location stated), but I'm pretty sure I haven't read about anyone on the west coast getting it. Let's hope it comes in on Friday! You'd think it would, with all these reports of it showing up at Best Buy's - we're usually a day later anyway. *crosses fingers*
It's not "finally available" at Best Buy because the two BB's in Portland, OR still haven't gotten it.
I would digitally download it, but for every gig of internet traffic, I have to pay an additional $20, so I'd essentially be paying $65 for the game. See, there are reasons why people won't download it, soooo quit suggesting it; we all know you can download it online.
