Because you make ignorant, misleading statements. This is primarily (not exclusively) a message board for skinning related questions and as such gets a lot of visits from inexperienced users that want to learn about skinning and the applications that make it possible. These users may not realize that you don't know what you're talking about (although bakerstreet has done a wonderful job of proving that) and assume that you do. The statements you make are sure to disuade these users from tryin

I get the same problem from time-to-time. I'm running 2000 Advanced server, so I don't think it's an XP patch issue. yrag is most likely correct in thinking it's server related (probably traffic related). I know/think T-Man has some code in there that performs bandwidth throttling based on user level. Don't know if it could be affecting the transmission of images based on utilized bandwidth, but it might have something to do with it. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/ind

yeah....click on the chat icon just to your left (below the 'discussion' icon) on the WinCustomize browser. Once you're there type /join #stardock (in the small entry field near the bottom of the page) and press enter. you'll see a 'stardock' tab at the top of the active window. click on it and you're there... Just enter your question in the same small entry field and if anyone's there they'll answer. Make sure to say hello first. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.

I think making a well publicized example of one 'ripper' might go a long way. Pick a rendom ripper and publically (CNN, Wired, etc....) rip them a new a$$hole, As this would need to be done through the courts, it would cost, but may have a positive effect. On the other hand, it may have the opposite effect - I'll show them, etc... Just a thought. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bord

Hey aqua.... Go to the DesktopX configuration screen. There's a tab called theme settings. Within that tab (at the top) there's an area labelled 'Reduce Desk Area'. Those are the settings you are looking for. If you objectbar is 100 pixels high and located at the bottom of the screen, then enter a 100 in the bottom field. This should have the effect you want. <img src="http://images.s

I believe it's ok to post other peoples works in your screenshots. Providing links to their work is also acceptable, I believe (someone will be sure to correct me if I'm wrong). It's usually considered polite to mention the artist(s) in the screenshot description. Other than screenshots, though, permission is needed. Hope this help...although I see someone already beat me to the answer.... <img src="
