Ok, I got the fully maximized the right size. You were right about the negative numbers for the "screen edge clip" settings in the "Window Borders" section. Top was -4, Bottom was -2, left and right was -2. Changed them all to 0 and it's now fully maximized. Thanks so much for that tip! There are a couple of other skins with this same issue and now I know how to fix that part. Now the other issue I can't figure out. I don't even know where

I just installed the 5.01 release and it's still the same. I think it's in the particular skin. Only a couple have done this (not displaying all the way to the edges of the screen when maximized). With the particular skin in question (Lignite) it also has another issue. When viewing a window that's not maximized, hitting the close key (X) does not close it but rather maximizes it. Then hitting the close button a second time (after it's maximized) close

I find this very irrating. Using some of these skins, when starting Internet Explorer, the page is not quite as large as the viewing screen showing some desktop along the edges. This is maximized and no re-sizing is possible. If the center button is pressed, then it can be resized but this is a hassle to have to do it this way. Anyone else noticed this about some skins? Can anything be done about this?

Never mind, I see what's happening. I was assuming skins were the same as colors. I can disable the skins but the WindowBlinds colord remain. Nothing I can do about that. A lot of these skins are not well thought out. Sometimes you pop something up with a dark font on a dark background making it almost unreadable. This happens a lot viewing webpages.

Using some of the WindowBlinds skins makes viewing in Internet Explorer hard to read. I would like to completely disable any skinning in Internet Exploer. I put in "iexplore.exe" in the per application in WindowBlinds 5 to disable skinning and it had no effect. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks for all this info, I'm eating this stuff up. Creating a skin from scratch at this point is beyond my comprehension. I tried to read that guide on the Skinstudio link and got a headache. Heh heh. What I want to concentrate on is learning how to edit existing ones to my liking in SkinStudio, so I just open a skin up in it and start screwing around to try to understand just what the hell I'm trying to do. There are an awful lot of skins to download

I have used a lot of skins that I like other than most of them still use the white backgrounds (background when opening folders, etc). I don't particularly like white backgrounds, would like to change the color a bit (maybe like light gray or something). I have WindowBlinds 5 and SkinStudio (Standard). I don't see anywhere to change this. Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks

I notice playing a game (Bloodrayne 2) that frequently during a cutscene, the game bounces to desktop. I can still hear the dialog. If I try to hit the game icon to bring the game back to the screen, I get an error and the game completely crashes. If I unload WindowBlinds, the problems goes away. So why would WindowBlinds be conflicting with a game? It's going to be a bummer if I have to unload WindowBlinds each time I want to play a game.
