On Research Screen the right window needs a scroll bar - for instance : 'Starbase Fortification' has a description which says "...in order to preserve the strength of our" - and you can't scroll to read the rest of it. Typo in the Ship Design screen, a small hull reads "...ideal for making a heavy figher."
Kerfuffle
What happens if you forge an alliance with someone who is ALREADY at war with another race. Does this auto throw you straight into a war?
How about not being able to trade a tech with another race until you or they have opened a trade route with them. So the tradeable item travels back to one of your worlds on a private freighter. Also, if you are less than 'warm' with regards to relations then less can be traded, and/or only one trade per turn.
Some more typos... In the Foreign Policy screen, Espionage Report - Level : Low The paragraph about Torian Ships reads ... "Torian Confederation Flagship CURRENLTY has 16 OUR of 16 possible hit points and is currently heading towards".. ??? In various places there is no test for whether there should be an 'AN' instead of an 'A' before the next word.
1 In 'Planet Details' screen for Earth, the 'Planet Description' reads "... Hyperdrive propulsion became a reality and a race for the stars began. /n ... 2 In Colony Management screen a square with 'Prairie' says "...sense of wellbeing and happiness, making it a perfect" and then it stops ! No scroll bar. 3 In the same screen 'Basic Factory' "...increases this colony's the social + military..." Basically just typos and
whoops - double post

I've only played the game at low AI intelligence levels so forgive me if it does this already at the higher difficulty settings. The quarterly report once said that my population had increased by a staggering 0.0 billion people ! It might have initially been rising but then declined until it
It's not just morale you have to watch though, it's population growth. It's all very well finding the balance for morale but if the population is slowly declining it will set you up for problems later on. I keep mine low at the beginning to boost my population growth - around 15 - 20%
