Last couple of nights I have been dreaming that my Orc character from WoW is destroying and gathering resources to build starbases to expand my empire.

That is true, I would have to see how it is effected in a harder game but maybe have it scale a little bit. When I found the ships they had 26~28 beam weapons and 54 hull. The biggest ship my enemy had when I got the 4th Ranger was Laser 4 with some low shield. Again they might not be creating new ships or using the latest technologies they have available since I was a little behind in the technology arena.

Yeah...playing an easy game just to mess around and learn the ropes. Went from having pretty low military power compared to everyone else to having a superior army when I found one. Couple of years later and I have 4 of them and no one else has the firepower to match them. They are nice to get but seem to be a little overpowered for getting them at such an early stage of the game. Maybe it should be a lower chance of getting the ship running again but a higher chance of developin
