But apart from having a WBInstall64.exe, most of my .dll files also end i 64. wblind64.dll, wbload64.dll, wbhelp64.dll etc. If it was the 32 bit version, wouldn't i have the 32 equivalent to those? There must be some way for me to install the 32 bit version..

Tried it and it didn't work, sadly, eventhough the pre-release version had a WBInstall32.exe file.. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope the final WB 5.01 release will fix the problem. But why didn't i have the WBInstall32.exe file to begin with? Appaerently I am running the 64 bit version. Doesn't anybody know how i can download the 32 bit version instead? And why SDC defaults to installing the 64 bit release?</font
Thanks for all the help, nice to know things (hopefully ) are looking brighter on the horizon. And now i play the waiting game.
My OS is just basic XP home, 32 bit. Yet everytime i install Windowblinds from Stardock Central, it installs the 64 bit version. Am I missing something here? Why does SDC it think i need the 64 bit version? How do i make it download the 32 bit version of Windowblinds? And BIODIGITZMAN, I can't download from Rapidshare, it says I used up my limit .
Ok, so my problem is that I'm running the 64 bit version af Windowblinds, am i correct? Where do i choose which one i install? I have been looking around, and i can't an option to download the 32 bit version instead. Did i miss something when i bought objectdesktop? I don't really understand the last thing you were trying to say. Maybe it was a bad babelfish translation. But still, thanks, any help is appreciated <img src="http://
I don't have a file called WBinstall32.exe, only WBinstall64.exe Would it work if i ran WBinstall64.exe instead?
Still no luck, sadly. Made sure everything i had that even slightly resembled a firewall was turned off, but alas, no change.. Getting desperate..
Sorry, double post..
Currently, no. This is a pretty clean XP, I haven't gotten around to installing all bells and whistles yet. Was trying to get windowblinds to work first. Tried uninstalling everything i was playing around with in object desktop, still the same problem. Also tried WB 4, with the same result sadly.. Any other ideas as to what might be causing this?
I have the exact same problem. Bought the complete object desktop package a few days ago. Installed it after formatting my harddrive reinstalling XP, so it can't possibly be conflicting with previous trial versions. As I try to apply a skin (any skin), the wallpaper changes, but my startbar, borders etc all revert to the Windows Classic skin. Noone knows why this happens? What can i do to fix it? I'd hate to have wasted my money on sof
