You are right, the ships aren't that hiqh quality then in X3, it's not possible to do that (I fear to say that, but the GC2 engine is in case of graphics, less good then the X3 one) But me and my team try to convert them as best as possible ;) thanks for the nice message :)

Thanks for your 2 Cents ;) yeah I agree. For me, I don't only like similarities, I also like differences between the people, to learn of them. In fact, if someone not agrees to your oppinion and gives you good arguments against, it's worth more then only agrees. Like you said, watching life from different perspectives. Another thought, you mentioned rude people, connections that have negative aims also exist in the net. Its probably a competition of "tumors" the good against the
I have a theory, What have our brain and internet in common? You will recognize that they just function cause of "connection" and "interaction". Each neuron inside our Brain is connected to other ones, sharing information and building new connections everytime. All together they allow us to think, to solve problems, to learn, to decide, and to write such articles. With the start of the internet, I think we create a meta-brain of mankind. Each human connected to
Hehe, thanks for your responses! @Zyx: Yeah, I think Stardock knows that modders are important for a game, it's compareable to open source software. The more you can change it, the more it becomes famous and many people build their stuff upon it. And total conversions are a try to build a new game, with all it's difficult mechanics, balancing etc. @mentor: Thanks a lot ;) I am not sure if we will integrate the stuff of X3 - Terran Conflict, we got rights to make a m
As you know, the I-Mod Team is working on X3GC2 RotGR the past 2 years, and in this time, the biggest hurdles where the shipmodels. We had to find someone, who can make 1 texture out of 40(!!!), this is called texture baking and we had noone able to do that. We were kinda overwhelmed by this problem and had a long pause in development. The last 4 month, my team and me was adding so much stuff to the mod that the last 2 years look like peanuts compared to that. First we just

you got rights. A little question, how's thought to be your Mod Leader? should be the one with the most freetime :D
no interest in a forum war ;) just wanted to pull someone back into reality :D Sure you can allways upload stuff on I-Mod. Make 3 post in our Forum and you immediately get upload rights =) -Stefan
No. These Games are totally different as they use 2 different engines what makes mods of GC 1 incompatible for GC 2.
I have decided to form my own modding team that could rival I-Mod
To be realistic, I don't think you would have the financial/production capacity to rival us until your 18. B-Day Besides, "modding team" is just around 20% of all, we are doing much more then only modding. What you see on the I-Mod website is just a fragment of what is happening inside. But I'm interested why you are against us instead of with us? You could benefit from I-Mod in many ways when
Modyard is up, please register on I-Mod and PM me (Stefan) so I put you up to the mass Effect Team ;) -Stefan
:) so it was DNS hehe thanks for your kind words!
We appreciate to hear that :)
What problem does the browser show to you? Maybe you just have to wait a day if it's still the effect of the DNS Change.
No not yet, probably with GC 2.0 I will make this mod compatible to 1.96 the next days.
@all, sry it was my fault, I tried to find out a problem with the DNS settings, but there was no problem so I accidentially made one. I-Mod was just available through IP for some hours until the DNS Servers restored. This will never happen again ;) sorry for the circumstances. -Stefan
Not really Radwen, it seems you don't know X3-The Reunion. The Races speak the same language, but with other dialects. No Translator needed. And the Grammar of the Split is "not existing". Thats what makes the atmosphere between the Races. You should start playing X3 before you justice conversions of the Game ;)
I'm going to further improve and add dialogues today ;)
Unfortunately, the files are not available anymore cause we sold the rights on the translaton and have no permission to provide them anymore.
A-m-a-z-i-n-g! I never cared myself about Desktop Icons, but it seems I got infected now :) -Stefan

Greetings, Here's a next Update on the X3GC2 RotGR Mod! My Team and me worked on the Race Dialogues, to integrate much more X3 atmosphere into Galciv2. <img style="vertical-align: bottom;" src="http://www.i-mod-productions.com/photoplog/images/3/small/1_GC2Twili
