Tri Strontium = Tri Strontium II Both size, cost and absorption are identical.
This sounds cool.
That is odd. I also have a Synaptics touchpad. Sorry all I can offer is: *) See if there is an upgrade to the touchpad drivers.
I would also pay for an expansion that featured William Shatner's voice. Also: Awesome screen ethicsgradient [#20]
Hello, I don't know what to do with planets like mars that have very few workable tiles in the range of 3 or less. Can anyone offer suggestions? Do most people specialize these planets like making a research base, etc?
It's rare, but sometimes the CD is bad. Return the CD if you want an 'official' CD, otherwise do what the others have suggested and download it or burn from a friend since you bought the game and have your own key.
Hi, There seem to be a lot of glitches in the glitch report. I don't know how many of them are legitimate since I have not personally seen all of them, but I know that some are legitimate. My question to Stardock is: How many have been verified and will be worked on? I would really like to see as many glitches fixed as possible or at least some resources allocated to fixing glitches rather than all the effort being applied to new features,
Oh shoot, Star Control the game. I was thinking about literally controlling stars ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
I have also noticed that some images are 'streched' when running a wide resolution as stated in #3. I reverted to 1024 x 768 since the 'black frame' does not bother me. You should put your findings in the 'Glitch Report' sticky post.
I attempted to demand some influence points from a race. Initially the indicated amount was 1, but when I grabed the slider and moved it to the right the influence points demand jumped by hundreds of thousands.
Some orange squares are not showing up on the planet screen. I can build habitat on the square, but the square is not orange or any other color, it looks just like an unihabitable square.
The hint box when a new/save game loads disappears when the game is loaded. Sometimes I can't finish reading the text before it disappears.
Dear Mr. Frogboy, I want to thank you for your commitment to the gal civ 2 community by taking the time to take bug reports, offer help, and enhance the game, etc. This is really great. Your dedication is appreciated. -- Mister.Donut
With regard to crashes.... Try downgrading your drivers. Sometimes when I go a couple of releases back it fixes many problems. This worked for me with Civ4 and Total War. Plus, as we all know, sometimes your card could be heat damaged without you really knowing it. I remember this happened to me as well. Just had to wait until I could afford to buy a new one. Then I machined some slots into my case and put a bunch of fans to help cool the new card. it seemed to work. <
Dear Frogboy, Your game is awesome. There are some quirks in the game. I am a programmer and a perfectionist and these quirks 'bug' me, and therefore, I could not bring myself to say that it's 'solid', but your game is awesome. Interestingly some of stardock's customers are as passionate about your game as you are and we want it to be perfect, a masterpiece. Please do your best, as you have been, to nail down these quirks. P.S. Did I mention that your game is awesome
This following is a quote from FrogBoy about the second patch. "Hopefully players of the game can attest that generally speaking, the game's pretty solid" - Frogboy So players, what is your opinion on the game? Is it solid with regard to bugs or not? Galciv 2 is an awesome game, but personally I think there is way too many 'minor' issues to call is solid. -- Mister.Donut
Quality has been long dead and burried for PC video games. The true king is Support Sadly this is a true statement.
*) After I capture a planet via land battle, sometime the planet stats, ie pop, are all 'freaky'. I noticed this happens when the troop count is less that 1000.
*) The text on the special resource window on the planet screen does not scroll anymore even though the scroll controls are there. It use to. *) Too many repeat notifications. This is hard to explain. Sometimes I get the same, in your face, notification 3 times in a turn after I perform some actions. It;s like: get notification, attack planet with my ship, get same notification, attack starbase, get notification again.I will try to provide details when it happens again. *)
I vote for: *) No tech trading game option *) Abilty to know where (the route) the selected ship/fleet is going on the map and how long it will take to get there. *) Abilty to perform 'upgrade', 'construct', etc commands to ship in a fleet. *) Diagonal Scrolling *) Move the next turn button away from the mini map. I have clicked on the next turn button by accident too many times. *) By the way, it's annoying that the hint screen d
If Civ4 can have Lenard Nimoy, then why doesn't GalCiv2 have William Shatner? "You......have discovered....Lasers!" -- Mister.Donut
Hi, First, great game! I am hooked. However, I am sorry, I know this has been said before, but not being able to scroll diagonally is horrible. I was somewhat shocked. I beg you to fix this, because I have some sort of mental block about not being able to scroll diagonally and it causes much mental anguish. -- Mister.Donut
