Reply to Aston 1.9.2 released in WinCustomize News WinCustomize Forums

Well, I tried this little prog...and ended up having to do a Restore, because I lost the ability to use the normal windows shell. I used the Shell Switcher. Everything seemed ok, 'til I uninstalled Aston, and restarted my pc. I thin could get only my wallpaper to appear. No icons, taskbar, etc. Other than that, it is a pretty cool program.

Reply to McAfee and IE7 Beta 2 in Personal Computing WinCustomize Forums

I had this exact same problem on all 3 of my pcs. I didn't connect IE 7 with my McAfee problems. I couldn't update, scan, or even uninstall McAfee. I had to go through the registry and remove it manually. I wish I had known this about a week ago. Oh well...I will have to uninstall IE 7, but I do like it. Thanks for posting this notice. Sandy
