Look at CIV IV. Lots of AI modding and improving. Some of the best AI modding went into patches as well. The future is bright
Correct, but I think that the Civ4 AI still cheats...;)

Just imagine: You summon/tame a mighty otherworldly beast and you must sacrifice some humans / turn in order to keep the beast calm. It's pretty acceptable imo. Agreed, I'm thinking a group of

As familys marry and expand, you can imagine the parts of different logos being combined in various ways (or so we're planning atm).
This sounds neat! Thanks for the info Boogie!
Quoting Yestin, reply 54 Have you played Dominions 3, or Civilization 4? I'm sure their designers did their best to reduce ai thinking time, but on the largest maps even a good computer can take a looong time to calculate multiple ai actions. AI rarely has high priority and AI thinking time probably even less.
Ouch...not to mention, that the Dominions 3. AI is very bad. Even a

You only talk of visual differences, right. You could have "elves" and "orcs" in human shape and still complain? Because if you do, you are only worried of appearences.
Having racial diversity is fun. Let's take a look at your examples. Elves &am

You could have a dragon fighting for you with an upkeep of for example 10 resources a turn (gems or whatever). If you run out of this resource the dragon leaves. Imagine how interested you would be in getting your hands on that gem mine over there Perhaps

I wanted to play a full game after the first BETA update [because the save/load system was heavily bugged in the first release] and what happens? My video card just died...I am getting a new one on this week, so I cannot play 'til then..:(

^ That's a nice system. Well, I have x64 ultimate, and I never had any problems with it so far. I installed tons of games/demos/utilities etc, in the last year. Even old DOS games are running on it perfectly. Vista requires a powerful machine, and it must be Vlited [x64 SP1, and Ultimate if possible] in order to be fast and "uberstable" however. That's the only downside, but it's really easy to use Vlite, so ah well. :)

Whats your problem with Vista x64? It's faster and much more stable than XP x64, especially if Vlited. As for W7 yeah, I'm gonna buy it also, but only when SP1 will be available for it... ;)

Hm...check your monitor settings. Maybe there is a "display unsupported modes" setting or something.
Hm also....what about windowed mode? You should be able to play the game in windowed mode at least.
