Quoting IDMopman, reply 67 It is reasonable to expect that this will be added at some time ( patch or expansion ) but for now they need to focus on the current version That is exactly why I wanted to to raise the priority of this issue I'm having now, while they are in the process of ironing out the kinks. As I mentioned earlier in Gal Civ 2 on the select opponents page when you click on the edit button for each race there is an aggressivness slider. It is reasonable to expect that this will be added at some time ( patch or expansion ) but for now they need to focus on the current version. The subject title is that this game will end up like Gal Civ 2 - well we can only hope so because each patch and expansion gave the players more options and choices of playstyles to choo

History has shown that you need some defensive capabilities in order to have any influence or safety. Show me a country without military power and it will either cease to exist in short order or is already a vassal state to another country with a powerful military.

Considering how easy it is to mod Stardock games you can create improvements in gal civ 2 to give yourself exactly the game style you want. Harder settings are for those who risk defeat , and as someone pointed out , if you cannot accept being beaten , then you do not really want a challenge.

I will have to wait until the release to order this because I only use Paypal and it will not accept that for a preorder. Does anyone know if I will still be able to order the deluxe version with the manual and map or that a preorder only?

Sorry friend but if your girlfriend is taking a major in islam and reads that interpretation then she needs a tutor Father Griffith: In many ways the Koran encourages dialogue with Jews and Christians — "People of the Book" as the Koran calls them some 54 times. For example, Chapter 10, Verse 94, says, "If you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, ask those who were reading scripture before you." Chapter 29, verse 46, proclaims, "Do not dispute with the People of t

Ghost-prime I also have to add that I fully understand your horror at being at the site of the mass graves in Iraq but remember that during the time Saddam was filling those same graves he was the friend and ally of the United States . http://mondediplo.com/1998/03/04iraqkn So when you , and I quote you , " hold one of the tiny fucking little skeletons in your arms " remember the man who put that innocent there was given millions of dollars in aid and arms by your government si
I am going along with ghost-prime on this one. I haven't been to Iraq. But, when they said that they found a mass grave with nothing but 10,000 babies in it. From medical experiments. That is when I stopped careing about wms.
This was the post I questioned Ghost prime and this is the place that mentioned medical experiments it all started here . I never said there where no mass graves I said this particular instance was false and I still say it is false. <br/

Ghost prime you are asking us to believe that the United States armed forces found a mass grave with 10,000 babies in it in Iraq killed for medical experiments under the Saddam regime and have carefully kept it hidden from the world because they wanted to protect Saddam's reputaion ? ?

I must add that as a Canadian I do not have any problems with the American people but I am cautious of your current administration and the direction it has taken you. Our country currently has lost almost 100 soldiers in Afganistan attempting to perform the duties we accepted to assist the US from the attack on the World Trade Center. Since that time however you have started a conflict with Iraq under false pretenses ( or at least your governtment has ) and our soldiers in Afga

The justification of bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki is very long and complex and there are several good texts written covering that topic . I will take the view that it was in a different time in another era and that its almost impossible to properly put ourselves in the shoes of those that decided. Today however there are many countries with Nuclear capability and many who could develop it if they feel its the only way to keep any form of independance from foreign influnce and control.

Yes America has the dubious honor of being the only country in the world ( at this time ) to use nuclear weapons against an enemy city , my congratulations Braddock8. Please understand I ( and many others ) do not want to see another Hiroshima or Nagasaki , EVER , ANYWHERE . The only thing you accomplush by playing brinkmanship with Iran is to force them to try to get nuclear weapons because they fear the result if they do not

Your own intelligence agencies have said in their recent report that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon and stopped all development back in 2003 www.iht.com/articles/2007/12/03/america/cia.php - 66k So why all the sabre rattling? www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/20/AR2008032002284_pf.html On a side note what would happen if a foreign government on the other side of the world decided that the US should not have object X and then bombed t

There has been a lot of sabre rattling going on from the US and Israel that suggests they are gearing up to an airstrike against Iran. ( BBC NEWS ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XQan1qo8T4 Do you realize that this would make your horrible ongoing disaster in Iraq seem minor ? Do you understand the the rest of the world cannot understand how you are allowing your country go down this frightening path ?
