Yeah, we should definitely do dungeons from time to time. I don't think that we want to raid exclusively, but it should be fun as an alternative to other forms of play. I've heard from a few different people that the server who is crushing in WvWvW is the server that everybody from 4chan rolled on (I'm assuming that people who aren't pacov know what 4chan is). So yeah, thats going to be tough. But they redo the matchups every few weeks, so our server

With regards to crafting: I think I'm going to mostly skip crafting. I really don't enjoy it, and collecting all that crap is tedious. I'll still gather for the xp. Maybe when prices stabilize I'll get into it.

Yeah, I'll probably be playing LoL at least some nights by early next week. We should do like Monday and Wednesday for GW2 nights so that we can do Tuesday and Thursday for LoL if people want to do both. I'm the one who yelled out the guild name, so I'm fine with it.

Guilds supposedly have a lot of functionality in WvWvW, which is where I'll end up eventually. I don't know that they add that much to PvE>

Man, I wish I was at home so that I could play. I'm not surprised that its filling up - people are so sick of the old EQ style MMORPG.

I'm really sad that I'm going to be out of town. It's always a lot of fun to be there right when the game launches to see the chaos. I had a ton of fun when I played DC Universe the second the servers went up. It wasn't a good game overall, but that first day was fun as hell - lots of great open world PvP as the two sides were fighting over places to do quests and level up.

I assume that a lot of us will be playing Guild Wars 2, so I figured that I'd start a thread on it. Prerelease is this Saturday. I personally am gone for the weekend, but plan on playing quite a bit on Monday (assuming they don't kill the servers prepping for release on Tuesday). I guess that Vlad is playing on Tarnished Coast, so I'll probably go there as well. My understanding is that server transfers are very pain free though, so it might not be a bi

In those fights people were saying to get corki, so when the fights broke out I went in and dazzled the corki. But nunu comes and ults and everyone dies, and I felt like I shoulda saved my dazzle for that. I think everyone should've been like OMG Bryff you suck what were you doing in that fight?! That's what started the Xin snowball. To be honest, the game where I was Graves and stayed bot when we lost, I just didn't care anymore. The games had been so negative, I really wasn't interested in helping anyone else. If I did, blame would have been thrown around anyways. Terrible for the te

Let me also try and address the fundamental problem here: I think that the bitching is really a symptom rather than the problem itself. In pretty much any game, you will have people playing for different reasons. In the case of LoL, you have people who want to get better every game and frequently think about ways to improve. But you also have people who just want to relax from a long day at work and go pewpew. Now both of these ways of playing are equa
2nd - karl - you need to get a handle on your bitching. I know (eg really - I know) that I can be a dick and bitch folks out from time to time. I personally don't mind if you want to tear me a new one for acting like a tardo, but I KNOW that folks have been put off by you several times now when you go into your broken record mode of bitching. I completely understand why you do this, but you need to try to back off a little bit

I'm sorry for not being happy about some things tonight, but we REALLY need to make sure that people are listening to each other. Its a really big deal. There are a lot of things in this game that just require teamwork, and if we have people playing by themselves and instead of the team, it is going to frustrate everybody. If somebody says "we need to be here", please, at least try and be there. One team coordinating while your team is playing as individuals is o

I'm sorry that I wasn't happy in that first game, but I do tend to get unhappy when the same dumb things happen repeatedly. One time things are fine. I typically don't get too upset when somebody makes a stupid face check or something. Everybody makes one time mistakes. But I am generally less pleased when the same mistake happens over and over. In the first game, we were literally unable to ever teamfight because of some silliness. After abou

I do believe to be a viable pick a champion needs either mobility or cc though.
Generally maybe, but I don't even know if this is true. Kog doesn't have any mobility and not a whole lot of CC, but is viable. Morde was pretty powerful at one point too, although that was a while ago.

Have one of them divide the remaining 8 players into two teams. The other captain gets to pick which of the teams he wants. Two theoretic

With the people we had tonight, there were 6 people who needed to be split evenly. Pacov, Jack, me, Jona, Cow, and Dude should be split 3-3 between the teams. Dude dominated his lane like half the time and was solid the other half, so he isn't exactly chopped liver and can hold his own against anybody we were playing with. Stomps were happening when those people were split 4-2 (or worse in the last game).

I probably would have played that out in ranked, but we weren't going to win that. But a big part of the reason why I agreed to surrender is that I didn't want to hear Peter complain about random stuff like how Udyr built Treads and WE for the next 15 minutes while we slowly lost a series of teamfights. It was going to just make me angry and I don't really see how we could win unless they were openly incompetent, so I just wanted to get out of that to save my blood p
