Yeah, Im just using the free smartphone app.

Yeah, I'm using an authenticator now. There are a ridiculous number of posts all over the internet about how bad hacking is in this game. Something is very wrong, but it seems like authenticators will actually secure your account. They are basically a necessity right now for D3, which is kind of sad.
Nice, my account got hacked. Not a big deal since my items werent good enough to clean out, so they just got like 150k gold. Mostly just funny. There have been A LOT of people reporting that their accounts have been hacked. The funny bit is that there is almost no way the problem was on my end. This is a very new computer - I think that the only things that I've downloaded are Steam, 2 games from Steam, Chrome, D3, and LoL. So I'm not getting keyl
Yes, thats how the top Diablo teams beat Inferno so quickly. They corpse hopped through most of the content and just took out the bosses (which are supposedly not that tough compared to blue and yellow mobs). Anyway, the balancing is terrible. Barbs and monks (to a lesser extent) are useless at higher difficulties, while ranged classes that can kite can get through inferno fairly easily. Blizzard was pretty clearly lying when they said they spent a few years polish
YES, broke my 8 game Udyr losing streak in solo queue. Every single game I'd be able to keep us in it early, but we'd always lose late because the lanes sucked. I finally got some good lanes.
I like the game, but there are some serious problem. Item generation is TERRIBLE. Shockingly bad. Every item is incredibly generic. That includes most legendaries (even though they are super rare drops). It's all passive states plus a few boring and obvious categories. They've stripped out a ton of the choices (do I go damage, or resists, or +stats?) in favor of a vast simplification (just take the item that gives you the best primary stat).
From what I've heard, Inferno is really class dependent. Wizards, for example, can do stuff because they can kite and do big damage. Barbarians seem worthless since their tanking ability is minimal, so they just go in and die against lots of stuff. I can't say that this is terribly surprising, but it just seems like bad design. Anyway, I'm not nearly that far along myself, but thats what I'm hearing.
They launched the game to the second. As in, the instant my phone hit the right time, the servers were up and not before. Of course, their servers only made it about 35 minutes before dying, but thats another issue. Ah, single player games that are unplayable when servers go down.
Lol, my normal ELO was higher over a year ago when you could actually get it easily. I guess only playing champions you aren't good at in normal takes its toll.
Its always possible that I'll be a minute or two late since I'm usually just getting home at 8:15. I'll be on asap though.
Twisted Fate seems to also hold the role of a roamer I've won the only ranked game I've played... Yes I guess I've noticed that roaming contributes to wins... I main Viktor, and I clear a wave instantly and then I go top and camp, stun, lazor, and ult them to death. I have a higher win % with Viktor than any other champ in ranked games... going bot has gone ba
It turns out that I have problems playing champs I'm not very good with when I'm a little bit buzzed. Plus, the other team was being mean that last game.
Never like the Kayle pick. She never does as much as it seems she should in teamfights.
I don't get home until around 8:15 eastern most days, so 7:30 is too early for me.
And in my next game we had 1 guy who didnt show up until the timer was at 8 minutes (then proceeded to feed since he was a level 1 vik against a level 6 brand) and had our Ezrael DC at about 10 minutes for the rest of the game. Losing streaks are fun.
Man, sometimes when you are on a losing streak there is just nothing that you can do. This last game we had a good chance for a win despite having 2 bads on our team...but Microsoft decides to update something during the game. Which takes out my keyboard, and requires that I reinstall some drivers and restart the computer. By the time I get back, my team had quit. So lost some ELO, and got a leave. Good times.
I'd play organized games, but I dont know how many people we are going to get. One of the keys to having a competitive team is to get better by playing against better competition on a consistent basis. It seems like many of the people on these forums are more into trying new ideas out in normals than really trying to do the whole competitive thing.
WW's sustain nerf isn't a sustain nerf. Minions and monsters get hit with flat damage, not the health percent based damage, so the nerf only applies to champion hits.
Its a massive sustain nerf. If laning, WW gets most his Q health back from champion hits. He doesn't have the mana to be splitting his Q's between minions and champions early in the game. Late game su
Oh crap, they doubled the size of the WW nerf. It looks like he will be completely unplayable now. Thats a 20% nerf to the damage on his Q. And since most of his sustain comes from his Q damage, its also a huge nerf to his sustain. Riot just loses their mind sometimes with nerfs.
Well, I finally decided to be more disciplined when I play ranked games and got myself over 1600. Maybe I'll even get to play lots of WW again when he gets nerfed tomorrow.
Anyway, just consider the current meta and think how easily you could counter it with some strategy. Mid can 90% of the time (really.. 90%) be countered by an excellent ranged ad carry or just a so so one with a MR rune page.
I think that you are missing a lot of things here. First of all, I've played in the previous metas. There was a time when it was somewhat common to see AD Carries mid and top. And n
Yeah, I'll probably support this one. I played a hell of a lot of Titan Quest.
Man, 3 20 minute surrender losses where I had no chance in hell in a row. First game had 0/6/0 super aggressive Leona. We could have still won, but she rage quit at about 18 minutes because we didnt "support her enough" when she did stupid things. Then I just had a dysfunctional team where I started like 0/2/5 as support again, but our team was losing like 5-25, so we just surrendered. I manage to keep bot close, but top, mid and jungle lost badly again.
I'm not sure I agree with your picking philosophy cause there's nothing I hate more than getting in a game and watching our number one pick grab an easily hard countered Solotop champ.
Yes, early picks going top is generally heavily frowned upon. There are some exceptions - WW, for example, is desirable enough that he won't last to 4th or 5th pick, so people will grab him early. Plus there is always some
Starting out ranked is kind of tricky since 1200 ELO is so stupid. Its a huge mix of good players who havent played enough games to get more ELO, horrible players who haven't played enough games to drop ELO, and casuals who are just randomly popping in from normal and will do things like randomly leaving for work 20 minutes into a game. Once you get above 1300 or so that kind of nonsense smooths out a bit.
