You have to realize two things: 1) There are VASTLY reduced rewards for killing the same guy over and over if he doesn't get kills in between. If you kill him 10 times in a row, those last kills are going to net you like 50 gold apiece or something stupid like that. 2) Its extremely difficult to gank top when you are playing from bot. Irelia builds are fairly flexible. You can go with pretty much any reasonable combination of the normal tanky DPS items. That means TriForce and/or Wit's End for your damage, and then the efficient defensive items (Randuins, BV, FH etc). It's not like there is any good alternative to what Steam provides. I know that a lot of people have some kind of irrational hatred toward Steam. Thats their right, but they had better not plan on playing many PC games for long since Steam (and Steam-like systems) are the future of PC gaming. Rampant software piracy combined with the features that Steam provides kind of forces this.
If you are going to play an ad carry its not a grea idea to go Ad Kennen. He doesn't scale into the late game. So yeah, he's strong around the mid game, but if the game goes past about 35 minutes, he is useless. Irelia is good, but very weak early. Late game she is ridiculous. Also, HotshotGG is playing Irelia right now in the Cursed tournament, so you can see how he plays her. He did pretty well last game after a rocky star

Poppy is a good champ who suffers from serious meta problems. Before the current meta, she was somewhat commonly played in the dual lane. Now it would be very bad to put her there since it would mess up your AD carry both in farm and in lane presense. So she has no place to go in the laning phase since she sucks everywhere else. Maybe if the jungle meta was slower she could jungle, but right now she is just too easily countered since everybody plays super aggressive

Most of the game you get very slightly more damage from your ult if you consider that (assuming normal WW builds).
TT has really strange strategies and the champs are balanced very poorly on it (Riot balances for SR first, Dominion second, then TT if they feel like it). I'm around most nights if people want to play.

There are fighting games without hitpoint systems. For example, I believe that the UFC Undisputed series does not use hitpoints and it sells pretty well. Its hardly a new idea to get rid of HPs, but the bottom line is that HP systems are usually more fun to more people than other systems. You guys should really try out some of the light side story lines too. For example, the Jedi Guardian story line was about a million times better than the BH story line. I like the gamplay of the BH, but the story is just not very good compared to the JG.

Lol, they nerfed WW's early game AGAIN. He is unusable in ranked now, I will need to work on a new main since my previous mains either suck now (WW) or got too popular (Rammus).
