will the game includes options to use other voting system for like Europe. I am not that familiar with the american electoral system, but i am familiar with the parlimentary system and how it works. If it does include other type of electoral system, how good is the AI using those rules???
i think what you can do is or maybe should have done is research all the mini techs early and start research defense techs. Then as time goes by, pick a weapons tech the AI has not researched. Have a fleet of ship that has high defense techs, that should do the trick. the number for denfense do not have to match the AI for offense exactly, close enough should be sufficent. What i mean is the following, if the Ai has missles at 32, then you can have anti missile defenses at 22, even though yo

find the short cut to TAlaunch. It should be in your twilight folder. when you click on that, it editors is one of the options. for mine, it is under "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\TALaunch.exe" It should be something similar for your own.

for myself, it depends on what i am doing, i like both levels. When i need to micromanage my ships i zoom in. If not i zoom out.
In my previous post, i mean to say that with the korath tech researched, the planetary invasion tech can be dispensed with for awhile so that weapons tech can be developed.
For Korath, if you get mini tech researched all the way, and with engine tech tree branch researched mid way coupled with spore, the planet tech can be dispensed with for awhile.
Hi I just started a game on TA playing as the Torian on Tough. I found that the economy build up for the race extremely difficult. There are like one morale building that you can build for each planet, but that is not so bad. For some reasons, i have like 43 million people but i am getting like 23 bc per month. what i mean by my question is, what are the disadvantages and advantages having tech trading on, compare with tech trading off. I know that having tech trading on, the AIs can develop really fast. When i try to buy techs from others, they never like my price offer, plus, my economy is never as strong as the AI. But if anyone can tell me how to play well with tech trading off, i am all ears. :)
