I seem to remember seeing spearmen in my list, but not build-able due to lack of iron, so I expect you are right and perhaps summoning that building bugged it.

"- I cannot train spearmen, though i have required building " Do you have iron as a resource? IIRC, that is required for spearmen.
And he now has a name... Cookie the seagull falcon!
Are they the same as Dr. Frank in this post? http://forums.sorcererking.com/458960/get;3504039 (reply 14)
Just pretend that code box is not there. It is a part of the steam UI where betas can be code-required, this game does not need it.
Guess I'll add to this thread. Using guardian, and picked the champ skill for adding movement and ignoring terrain cost. The added movement point showed up, but terrain costs still seem to be in effect. Also, graphical glitch in tactical combat. Getting a red cross along the whole battlefield, will try other graphic settings, but for now here is a pic: <img src="http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/52116438222744784/16A4B
Starting game now, can't wait!!
"I still think I need to better argue the point for more lieutenants/SK gameplay differentiation as a pre-game lobby option. So I'm curious as to when the SK will be the 'anti-you' to be able to judge if mid-game differentiation will be enough to make the enemy feel unique each game or not." Really love your ideas on this. Even if this isn't something that makes it into final game. Perhaps it could be a DLC in the future.
So the consensus is against a unit editor? So we want a crafting system combined with a Civ-style promotion system with perks?
That'd be my vote.
Huzzah! Great news, thanks for the continued support of FH:LH! Fans like myself appreciate and preach to the choir of the uninitiated about the greatness of the Elemental series and development team. [e digicons]
Not sure if you noticed your necro thread action. To be clear, you posted in a year old thread. FE:LH is actually on 1.7b at this point, as of ~ month ago. Although if you were speaking
Indeed I meant the latter. But I can see other possibilities too. e.g. Autoresolve when you overwhelm the enemy (current) Enemy automagically dissolves when you attack them (as above, you see them fleeing and fading away to nothing) or, When you massively overwhelm the enemy you aren't prompted to battle instead you're prompted to either: Allow the enemy to flee with their lives - gain
No, I don't believe adding a unit editor would make the game better. Instead I'd like to see built units progress through level-ups, like they do in Civ5.
With skills as promotions? Yeah, that'd be ideal.
just kidding of course!
Hey! How about you guys quit playing Civ:BE and get back to our next beta [e digicons][/e]
Just a thought. My suggestion for the DM-controlled autoresolve is this: Have the enemy run-away. It's almost identical in practice but the benefits are: No loss in control, no loss of items, no loss of units, no loss of time on a trivial fight.
As in literally run away on the map? Or do you mean just disappear from the map. The latter sounds
Do you guys plan to leave the funny bits littered throughout the game for launch? Some? All? Personally I like them, but I've seen complaints about the immersion being broken. Any thoughts?
That all sounds good, just want to make sure in the finished game it is stated as such, so that it makes sense.
I've been thinking, maybe the SK shouldn't be casting the Spell of Making. Maybe he should be casting the Spell of Breaking or some other name. Seems like we already know the spell of making from previous games and destroying the shards wasn't part of that. I know this really has nothing to do with game play, just thinking it doesn't really *fit* with everything else lore-wise.
I'm not sure what Desktops v2.0 does, but maybe try Fences by Stardock instead? That works well with Start8 on Win8.1. As well as making the fenced in areas, it allows dragging desktops sideways to setup multiple desktop views. If that is what the other program does, maybe that'll work for you?
There seems to be a new feature where auto battles automatically happen if you are considered 'guaranteed' to win but there remains a chance one unit will lose a small number of hit points.
Or even die if they start low enough. Especially against a ranged enemy.
Nay. This is about the limit of my language and story telling skills, so that is nowhere near good enough to be a professional writer. I simply couldn't help myself, with a thread title like "The Sorcerer King is misunderstood" and a dialog box header in which your evil opponent states "We are your friend", it screamed for a humoristic response. But thanks for the compliment.
Having read some self
Was trying to colonize my 3rd planet the other night and it wouldn't let me land on any planets. I believe I had population on the colony ship. It was in neutral territory, within my ship's range. The planet itself was habitable. When that wouldn't work, tried going to an empty planet within my territory and still- no luck. Think I still have that game saved, so if anyone has any idea on what to check for or try, I'm open to suggestions. Also, a Dev requ
Been quite a few updates since I've last played, may be time to take it for a spin again!
You can run the game's .exe file from it's installation directory.
FWIW, launching legendaryheroes.exe via windows explorer still launches steam.
Good for you. I bought iPhone 5S 64GB last week myself to replace my current 4S, which works just fine even after 3 years. but its only 16GB and i wanted more. I was planning to get 6 originally, basically waiting for it to be unveiled, but i just cant stand its size. Way too big for me.
Yeah, not caring much for that larger size myself. Staying with my 64GB iPhone 5 (still on iOS6something) for now.
