I cant get Star dock to download the beta 2 update either. I would love to try it. I dont know why they wouldnt put it where they normaly do. It makes more sense to put the download into the download section. I guess life never gets any easier. just kidding. First of all I wanted to say that playing Galciv 2 is ssoooo adicting. I am having issues with star dock. I cant get my serial number to work. I dont know why., I have tried the serial number from the back of my disk case, and Star Dock calls it invalid. I have only had 2 real troubles when it comes to the beta patch, at 1. is that the TURN button disapears after hitting it and then if I use the space bar as a work around it takes a few turns to come back. It seems to have something to do with the next button. If I hit the space bar it finds the next ship that has turns left. Idont know what i

I love this game, and have only found a few little grypes. I love the company because of how honest they come off. I just wanted to add something that would make the game really realistic, and that is to be able to select an attitude when speaking to another civ. I would like to have to option when asking for something, to use a sarcastic tone and make them mad or to ask polite to add just the right touch. I think that it would be great. I dont like it
I dont know why they even put in the minor races. They are useless. I watched as one of the minor races was getting there butt kicked , so I gave them ships to protect themselves. The ships turned the colors for that civ, but I watched still as the other civ kicked them into the ground and still not one of the ships that I gave them did anything. you cant do espionage and they are push overs when trading. Why didnt they just make them regular races, so
WHy is it that a minor race is getting their butt kicked and then I give them a great bunch of ships to defend themselves, but they dont move them and they dont use them to protect themselves. Its like I didnt even give them to the race.
There are ways of getting the AI to trade offensive techs with you. You have to be an ALLY or TEAM for them to consider trading offensive with you, but they will trade them with you. The races that have the same alignment with you have a much better chance of trading with you. You can and should find races to trade offensive weapons. Its also easy to see if they will trade offensive when you ask for ( lets say a laser ) and select 1 dollar without putting it on the table. If the text becomes gr
I really hate it when you are playing and a civ says all of a sudden that it has been beaten up and cant go on and that another civ has made the best offer for there remaining planets and stuff when I never was called on to make an offer. I have all the patches and the vid and audio drivers are all updates, but I just had the same buggy situation as this fellow. when i declare war i then go to talk to the civ that I am at war with and they still treat me as a friend even though we are at war. Is there any way for civs act real. I just want the enemy civ to talk to me as if they hate me, and talk to me when we are friends as if so. Thank you very much....
