I've been a big fan of 4x games for some time now and GalCiv 2 is no different. Countless hours exploring and exterminating... fun fun. BUT, the drawback to these games eventually always becomes the AI. At some point, the game is just no longer any kind of challenge. The AI is so predictable that you know what to expect every game. Hey all Been playing for a few days now with 1.1 and love it! Blind Exploration is fantastic. What I was most looking forward to however was the "no tech trading" option. I've now played 3 games on "tough" with no tech trading and have lost every single one. AI always attacks pretty early on and I seem to be unable to make them happy enough with me to slide there disposition much past "neutral" Since I can't beive away techs

I've been a big fan of 4x games for ages and so far am really enjoying GC2 but there is always room for improvment... One of the things I enjoy most about 4x is the eXploration aspect.
