Nice update General-the story gets better and better (though I would put in a plea for you to check spelling and grammar more often as it detracts from your excellent story-telling)
mambaman
It's a good question General but what I thought was that since this is an alien religion I would reference the 2 most well known religions that we know in order to give you the reader something to hang their hat on so to speak Hope that helps [e digicons]B)[/e]
Stop teasing General [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Chapter 8: The Drumbeat of war….. 15 th August 2241 <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin
Nice story told from a different perspective :) You gonna write any more?
Yeah a nice AAR and you're right the AI cant win an Alliance victory-I've had that happen to me too
Bring it on!! :)
Come on then Neilo-where u at?
Lovely-you have a great writing style mr-very evocative-nice one :CONGRAT:
thanks Garion-erm I have been playing this particular game for a couple of months now-it's been a right old Epic ;) ;)
I know believe you me I was staggered when the surrender came in lol-the Torians did have some sizeable fleets massed around the Altarian planets so I can kinda see why it happened but it was a massive stroke of luck-or maybe what The Way willed  lol
Hmmm lovely speech-this Roberts is quite the orator Lookingt forward to seeing how this pans out-you got any game info mr? :CONGRAT:
Ahhhh ok.....
What a cracker Hydro and I have to say that I tend to go for Diplomatic victories too by assidous wooing of races that are likely to follow my ethical path (good or neutral). Usually works even after I have stepped up a level to Tough I loved the way you wrote this: just the right mixture of fiction with game facts and exciting screen shots looking forward to the next one from you :CONGRAT:

The Krynn 2nd Consul knelt in quiet prayer, her Prentice by her side. She was
Painful? Wow-good effort mr :CONGRAT: And a great new post-a very good mix of tactical info, combat and real stories :D
Ahh that may be it Loup-the new ships appear to not be the problem: all the money is in the planets As you say I will have a look at what is being built on those planets etc. I did just think to myself b4 u replied 'have a look at what infrastructure those planets have' thats probably where the answer lies Ta mate
I guess the Developers have to do a trade-off and given that scenarios of this type tend to rely on the Space race etc they feel that the Ground Combat is the thing that has to give Interestingly there was a similar but inverse argument in the Total war series which concentrated on the land battles and abstracted the sea ones...until the next installment that has paid very close attention to this as well Makes you feel that they will probably get round to it in GalCiv III or so
Hi guys-looking for some advice here. Was pootling along happily in a massive galazy with only 5 colonies and have already beaten off a concerted attempt to anihilate me by the Yor. My economy is fragile to say the least but still in the black and growing when I suddenly find myself in posession of 11 new worlds and a number of Capitol Ships ceded me by my Allies the Altarians I am not at war with anyone and these new colonies are on the other side of the Galaxy but
mmmm a Terror star maybe? ;p
This is a cracking good read Hydro-love it! :CONGRAT: You seem to have very quickly gained an advantage-can I ask what difficulty setting your game is on?
Hehehe I am glad you liked the latest chapter guys: certainly the game is twisting and turning and surprising me: I am quite chuffed so far as I am playing at a difficulty that I have never played at before and have never been this far.... Lot's more to come though guys so read on
Chapter 6: Salvation Song…. 22nd September 2233 The Directorate of Intelligence, Srnja, Kryseth Director Yazgul Lor settled in his Duranthium basket with a look of what might pass for satisfaction on his features. The basket swivelled on the touch of a button as his office darkened by some unspoken command. A screen descended and came to life: it was GNN news showing the 1st Consul addressing cheering crowds outside the Consulate building. There must have been
Helluva an AAR mr-loved it! And was an exciting read in spite of not being written in a literary style-nice one :CONGRAT:
Ah well-we forgive you General...long gaps are ur stock in trade arent they lol ;)
