Now I'm having a problem with this anonymity blind that I didn't have in the previous build of WB. The start menu that pops up looks totally different from the preview. Here's a screenshot: Any ideas?

I had already re-downloaded the wba file. So, I followed RND's advice somewhat by simply doubleclicking on that file and clicking on the popup. It does apply the skin properly and the large preview still doesn't appear. so, until jazzy fixes the skin, I will have to do this each time (I saved the wba file in the Ammonite folder). Thanks dude.

My problem is not the small preview below with the stars (mine is set to filter all with 2 or more stars and Ammonite has 3 stars). The preview in the bottom part is exactly like it's supposed to be. My problem is that when I single click, the resulting pic above is nothing like the WB. And, if I do try to apply it, it simply retains the WB I have already had (though the program thinks I have Ammonite). I had none of these problems with this blind in the previous b

I just tried to apply the Ammonite II WB and it didn't work at all. The preview didn't even show the WB. this is the first time I tried to apply it under the latest build of WB. Here's my info: Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 5 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.3 (build 310 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC <b

OK, after persistent help from the techs at SD (mainly Curt) we figured it out. To apply a uis0 skin properly, one needs to first apply the default Win7 theme. I had to do it thru the Win7 Personalize screen. Then, all the uis0 skins work/look as they do in the previews. If one switches to a uis2 skin after that (I switched to C5) and then tries to apply a uis0, it will look like Windows Classic, very bland. It seems that the uis2 skins apply Classic as an underl

If it makes you feel any better bachbeet, none of the UIS0 skins work on my Windows 7 64-bit either. Well, I guess "misery loves company." The others (some here and the tech guys) are telling me they do work. The tech people can't find a solution and insist that they still should work. Fact is they don't. Not on mine and apparently not on yours. Makes me think there is an error with the new uis0 format and Win 7 64 bit.&nbs

I googled this aero glass enabling and found some answers that basically had me check the windows experience index. I did so and it's a 5.0. So, that means aero glass is enabled. I'm not running any other theming software either. Bottom line is that uis0 skins just don't work for me. At least not after restarting my computer. I've reinstalled WB a few times now and each time I do, the uis0 skins work until I restart my computer. Very w

After talking to the SD techs, they asked me if the included skin is a uis0 or uis2. I didn't know this distinction so I checked and some of the included skins are uis0 (e.g. aero wood) and others are are uis2 (e.g. sabertooth). The uis2 skins work but the uis0 skins don't. I told them that. I'm waiting for their reply to this.

This is very weird. I went back to some of those older skins (was looking at Chasbo's skins; e.g. xraptor weather widget) and now I can comment. Do I hear Twilight Zone music?

I've been looking at some of the older skins on the site because I've seen some skins that lead me to older skins that I missed. When I try to add a comment, I can't. I never had this problem before. Are comments closed after a certain time now? If so, how long before they close?

It seems I have stumped the techs at Stardock. I submitted a support ticket on this problem and they told me to verify the WB installation thru Impulse. I did and it verified that it was correctly installed. That was Monday and since I told them that, they have not responded.

Well, it was working last night before I shutdown my computer. Then, this morning after starting up, they don't work. I have no idea why this is so but I have to ask again why these blinds are included if they act like this. I can't be the only person that has had this problem. That would be too weird.

now that you got them all working you did REcopy your skin folder right? Like I said, I didn't have to because they all stayed there, including the premium WBs. Reinstalling merely corrected the problems with the included skins and kept all my other skins intact. For example, I'm using Aggressor just like before. If I do come across any missing pieces, like a wallpaper, I'll simply copy it from folder that I have on the C drive. And, I d

Thanks a lot disturbed! All the included skins work now! In fact, by using control panel, all my skins I already had stayed and the reinstall seemed to correct the included ones. Or something was missing in those. In any event, they do work now. In the future if I do find something missing in a particular skin (e.g. a wallpaper) I'll simply go to where I copied that folder and copy it to the actual WB folder. Right now, I'm using Aggressor and will go back
