This game is a must have. Here is pure strategy, tactics, management, diplomacy, political, economy, society. All the features that make a strategy game of that kind, good are there. It's really superior to civ4. Civ4 is nothing more than a graphical remix of the first civ. It still an incomplete game, civilizations are missing, units are missing, etc. It suck. hehe GalCiv2 own all the games in this genre. I've paid 70$ canadian for a pre-sale edition

I played warcraft 1 when it came out. I still have the game in a disk 3.5 format, pirated. I also have the second and the third game with both expansions. I will not buy or play world of warcraft mainly for two reasons. 1) I will never pay to play a game in multiplayer, each month. No thanks. Blizzard has enough money to keep them free as they did with diablo 1, starcraft, starcraft broodwar, diablo 2, diablo 2 lord of destruction, warcraft 2 b.n

My actual game is at "thougt" difficulty, and the A.I. is really agressive. I'm playing on a large map, with 7 civilization. I'm playing the Yor and I've been at war 80% of the time with my neighbour, the thalan. Now the arcean empire and altarian has destroyed my unique ally, the dominion of korx while the drengin surrendered(???) to the iconians. I almost destroyed thalan but the two super power are going against me... hehe As normally, the Drath sucks and are doing nothing.<b

Hehe, I'm only 23 that's normal Thanks for the info guys. I'll try all thoses modules. I just noticed never winter night 2 is coming soon !! d*mn I hope that will own. I'm sure it will be much more better than lineage2, WoW and even dungeon dragon online...

I was an hardcore fan of PnP AD&D second edition (second edition got two version too!) I was a DM (all my players elected me the best DM they ever played with )and had for 500$ of books hehe. But I stopped to play since it turned to third edition, and for many other reasons. One of the main reasons is that AD&D games just came on cpu at the same time almost.... yes before baldur gates

SUGESTION for PIRATES - Please Stardock, read this. in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I think it would be nice to have an option like the one in civilization series with the barbarians... So you could set the frenquency the pirates appear. but, it would be nice first If I was able to see any pirates ships at all. I know there were already some discussions about thoses issues but I think there is something to do with that and that would not be really hard....I guess. Keep working !!!

I played 5 games, mostly on 1.1 and I never seen any pirates. I had lot of events telling me there is pirates and I see al civilization ar at war against pirates, but I cant see any pirates ships....

I agree with all people here. Diplomacy need tweak. The races need to be more different from the others and more unique. They should act really differently too. I like the idea of one race always trying to make deal and the other trying to keep peace, etc, etc.
