Any updates on the situation?

Either way it's a form of copy protection, and if it keeps you from playing it sucks.
Ok T-man, email sent. Hope you can get this fixed for me!
Ok monday is here.... Come on Tech Guys, help us out!
Ok, thanks Kalin.
What about simple things like adding your own character portraits and logos? That's supported right? ...where do you put the images and what format do they need to be in? -Chris-
Nullspace, even if a race loves you on the easiest difficulty setting they will rarely sell you military tech. You will get a message that says something like (This is a wonderful trade but my military advisors won't allow it) And a race that hates you won't sell you any tech at all unless you hand over planets for it. So I don't quite understand your tech trading argument with GalCiv. I play on Tough diffi
Yeah it has to be a website issue, because my codes work fine for downloading the CE and Bonus patch, but not the beta. Hopefully we will get this resolved tomorrow when they come back from their weekend. -Chris-
Hopefully the demo won't be a mission from the Campaign or it's going to hurt sales more than help them. -Chris-
You already are Americans, you just don't want to accept it yet.
Same problem here man, made my own post about it earlier today.
Mine worked with the ealier patches though, but not this one. Did you email support Fordson? No reply? -Chris-
I never played GalCiv 1, so I can't comment on the changes. However I did play Civ 1-4, and when I bought Civ4 I played it once, got bored quickly because it was basically the same game I have burned myself out on over the years, and uninstalled it. I'm sure Civ4 is the best Civ yet, but for right now I'm bored to tears with it's gameplay and historic setting. Someday though I'll install it again and love it.
I've spoke about this in similar posts, thought I would make my own thread, sorry if this is out of line. I own the US. CE Edition. I purchased it from a local store, not online. When I bought the game and went to the download section on here it asked me for my two serial codes to get the bonus patch and CE content patch. That went through with no problem and I patched the game. Later I downloaded the stardock software and tried to register my copy on there and i
I also have this problem. I have the american CE version. When I first got the game from the store I updated with the CE patch and Bonus Patch before making an account. After I made an account then to chat on here and tried to activate my serials via stardock it gives me the error. I just ignored it until today when it's doing it with the beta patch. Somehow I think entering my serial codes on this site to g
Thanks lokiju. Sorry for side tracking the topic with my questions. I think it would be cool though if you were actually trading the trade goods with trade routes and giving the other civs the bonuses that way. I guess I'll start trading with everyone now instead of being selective. Thanks again, -Chris-
I always thought the bonus each trade good gives you when you build it is being shared with the race you run a freighter to....is this not correct? (Would make who you choose to trade with a delicate decision.) What exactly does the race recieve when you give them a trade good via diplomacy? The bonus? The ability to build that trade good? -Chris-
For the record I have his 3rd bug happen to me often. I click a ship tell it to move and whatever the next ship to be autoselected is ends up flying towards the same spot. They could be clear across the map from each other or a few tiles away, still happens from time to time. -Chris-
I beat the first mission tonight, took me all day....is this normal? I teched up to laser 3 ignoring almost everything else, cranked out defenders and swarmed the enemy planets. It was pretty silly, my defenders attacked the ships the enemy built as soon as they went into orbit. I had to keep reinforcing my defenders while researching (forever) my way to troop transports. 8 Transports later he gave up and I beat the mission. (yay) The game was quite
Hello all, I'm new to the game and would like some general advice on playing the campaign. I'd prefer to play through the campaign before playing sandbox games, I figured this would be easier, but I'm having a hard time of it. I've started the campaign over a number of times and keep getting similar results = Enemy attacks me with a much stronger military. Some basic starter advice would be helpful, Such as... Should I take the middle pla
