Hi I played a game as humans and the game ran fine and was really fun. So i decided to play as the shadows and I was like wtf? You can cant build colony ships so you cant compete. Yeah you might have a homeworld of stupid quality but you can still have very poor ecomomics and research. However their ships did appear to be stronger dont know why tho. Maybe give them planetery invasion at the beginning as this will make them a real threat.
