Same thing happens to me, with updated drivers as well... Saved and quit, then restarted but happens again after a few turns. This happened after the patch. Interestingly, if you disable your anitvirus, makes it a bit better. This slowdown seems to be happening to a number of people after the patch....

Yes UI change to make it easier to pinpoint where you need to send your constructors would be more useful than going through all of your starbases to see if there are any empty module spaces to be upgraded...

Well the thing is I thought I had selected nine opponents while I had selected random. So on the huge galaxy I was playing it was me, the terrans, torians and the yor. The Torians expanded so quickly in the huge galaxy and they took out the yor before you could say 'what the...' and now they pawning me hardly since there miltary production is so much more than me. Ok, the Jessuins is a minor race as all of you know. It says in their description that they like nothing else much more than to sit down and smoke their favourite substance called.... something. I have a suspicion that it is not the same for everyone.... So the question is: What is the substance name in your game? Ok, when I want to permanently delete my custom ships, do I just delete the .xml file or do I delete the .shipcfg files? Are the .shipcfg files the my Documents\My games\Galciv2 only for custom ships or for precanned ships as well. Worry if I posted this in the wrong forum.

I am sure that I read somewhere that the references to humanity in the research screens (e.g. 'Since our first contact with Arceans with have focused on energy weapons...' And 'Under a Galactic Democracy etc. Earth's colonies gain an inceasing amount of freedom', also the technological victory: ''The descedants of those who first reseached Hyperdrive now reseach the ultimate technology...') were going to be removed.
