No... It's still there. Maybe try again?
Achronous
It's up in the downloads section so it should be the correct one.
Well, it is now available on the downloads section. I can say that this confusion filled up the forums, heh.
Good, us sausages can now get our hands on the patch!
Ehm if you think about the black hole gun it sounds worst than the doom ray... Imagine a black hole coming at you at incredible speeds. Can you say spaggeti?
Yes race specific music would add a lot to the game. Like the race specific music you get in the diplomacy screen... Hmmm you got me into thought now!
Well us sausages can't wait to get our hands on the patch!
Oh you got me there, faster than me. Ok thanks! Argh and I thought I had it!
What on Earth? I downloaded it and the game updated at least that's what stardock central says (version 1.10.012) but when I start the game the version says 1.0x.1 and the game is still in the unpatched state. Sorry if I caused any confusion about the patch and I am doing something wrong. Please help?
Bump just to make sure...
I just looked and it's available on Stardock central, but not in the Downloads tab yet! Downloading now.
Ok, I was playing the Terrans, huge size default options and the Sol starsystem had only 4 planets. Here's the treat. The UP screen says that Sol V (which does not exist) 'blossomed to be a habitable planet following years of volcanic activity'. (this being saturn normally, hehe). The vote goes to me, but obviously since Sol V does not even exist I don't get any new planet On all other ga
Well it's not so much that I don't like the music, it's ok, rather it's very repetitve and seems to reset with each turn when you are at war. E.g. let's say I just started a war against another player. The war music starts..... I press the End turn and the music seems to start again from the beginning instead of continuing. I maybe overexaggerating it a bit but that's what it seems. Maybe this music playing tweaks that whismerhills saw will fix this. I realise that r
bump?
I was reading the full change log for 1.1 patch (in the journals section) and guess what! One of the changes is "+ New Music playing". This is excellent because the old music caused me to have a headache after a few hours of playing and so I had to turn it off from the beginning, which was too bad! I just hope the new music is not as repetitive as the previous ones. (I realise that the old one will still be there). Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I just don't like havi
Well I don't know, but on a normal game I played most of the AIs planets were pretty well biult up and could crush me if they wanted (or I let them )
Can you say "death furnaces to incinerate slaves for energy" (IGN: http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/668/668076p2.html). Oops! You topped the Drengin!
Medium Ships tend to survive more than small ships due to their hitpoints. They just soak up more damage. And they look much cooler than small hulls
Well, if you don't want to move your finger you could pay off another powerful civ, eg the Drengin to wage war on them. Then ally with the Terran Alliance. This should keep you off the war. The Terrans might see that they are doomed and then surrender to you, as you are their allies. This assuming that they don't lose their worlds to the Drengin first oe even surrender to their military might! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.
I've had this happen as well, and if you check your debug.err file the game flags you as a cheater!
I am not sure about this but try getting a few ships onto the starbase. Then I think you should be able to see the waypoint in a thumbnail next to the other ships and can choose to disband it.
How about more music and more varied as well. Sometimes especially when I am at war I get tired of hearing the same tracks playing in loop all the time. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I just turn it off and listen to my own music. Does anybody agree?
Well, since when you play battle of the gods you have all your ships then it must be something with the technology. I don't know about your early colony ship, but try researching the down the minutarisation (sp?) tech tree and the sensor tree. Usually when you research even basic minutarisation, then all of your ships require that tech in order to be built. I hope this helps! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIG
"Oblivion however already suffers, for me, the same crucial problem Morrowind did... I'm given way too much choice and far too little direction or indication of what I'm capable of doing. If you're used to games like Baldur's Gate or Final Fantasy where you are given quests when you're powerful enough to take them on, and are given a clear idea of what the main quest threads are versus auxillury quests, Elder Scrolls games
I haven't ever tried it but the ship designer ingame says that only one is needed.
