The poll isn't visible for me through www.galciv2.com, whether I'm using IE or Firefox. It was previously visible in Firefox, but I couldn't vote. Anyway, I'd heard good things about GalCiv2 before through word of mouth, but the Penny Arcade article was the one that caused me to go out and buy the game. One of the best games I've ever played. </

I've also had the same bugs described here. In addition, I always get the "first turn message" when loading a game ("the humans have given us hyperdrive technology / we've discovered hyperdrive technoly...), and the game runs me through the research screen and homeworld planet manufacturing screen.
